“Best trip.”

Spending 3 days & 2 nights seems not enough to satisfy the cravings for the beach vibe, however as a 1st time tioman island goer, it is definitely a great start and the best experience for the kids, especially the snorkeling trip arranged by the very helpful owner, mr.syukri. As the island has so many eatery spots, we choose almost all of our meals from Mama's restaurant just next door to the chalet. The room is spacious and comfortable, no tv (you don't need it anyway), the beach is just a few steps away from your door, and don't worry about your luggage as they will help you carry them with adventurous transport and if you're lucky you might get to ride with it to the chalet. Overall, it was a very calm and nice experience, the type that makes an introvert traveler want to return and stay longer next time..

The chalet is located right by the beach, and the beach itself was absolutely stunning — crystal clear water and gently sloping during low tide, making it very kids friendly. You can even snorkel and spot fishes close to the shore. The entire place was clean, cozy, and well maintained. Shukri was also very helpful in arranging a snorkeling trip and a visit to the turtle sanctuary for us. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come again.

“Just perfect location!”

We couldn’t have chosen a better location on Tioman. We visited as a family with two young boys and had a wonderful experience. The room is literally right on the beach, which made the stay even more magical. The owner was extremely kind and helped us with our luggage both on arrival and departure, which made everything much easier. At our request, he organized a snorkeling trip with a visit to a turtle sanctuary one day, and a trip to a waterfall the next. Breakfast was excellent, and they even prepared fresh pancakes for the kids, which they absolutely loved. The beach was მშვიდ and peaceful, without crowds. If you swim a bit further out, you reach a coral reef where you can see a variety of colorful fish and marine life. We absolutely recommend staying here to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in nature.

Amazing service in this property, very good small family restaurant where are breakfast for guests and amazing meals for lunch or dinner if you wanna fish must order in advance. Ideal place for relaxation , snorkeling or can also scuba diving owner can manage it . Im definitey come back

“Perfect stay in all aspects”

We loved everything of our stay! From the location, to the staff and the restaurant just beside the rooms. Breakfast was great as well. We highly suggest eating at Mama’s Foodhouse which is run by the family and the grandma cooks so great, we had 3 meals there and just couldn’t get enough! The location is so relaxing and their friendliness just made our stay even more memorable. Will definitely come back here if we’re back in Tioman!

Quality over quantity! From the warm personal welcome and luggage assistance to the many helpful tips, the team’s great availability, the private snorkeling tours, and not to forget the best food on the island (Mama truly is the best cook!) — Cuki and his family have created a little paradise. “Wonderful food, views and hosts”

Simple and spotlessly clean accommodation with two large double beds and a nice bathroom. Large terrace right on the beach overlooking coconut palms and the amazing rocks of Tioman. Wonderful owners who hosted with kindness and genuine care. Wonderful breakfast and dinners available at their restaurant. Genting is a perfect place to unwind -quiet and the beaches are stunning.

“Lovely place to stay to unwind and relax”

Genting itself is a small, quiet, laid back village far from the crowds and a lovely place to unwind and relax. The beach is beautiful and the jungle behind is amazing. There are monkeys everywhere! Mama’s Foodhouse is the best restaurant in Genting and the family who own it also have 2 rooms next door, which are identical to each other. Each room has 2 large comfy double beds, great air-con and a bathroom with hot water shower. Everything is modern and exceptionally clean. Both have amazing views from the balconies with steps leading straight down onto the beach. The wi-fi is fast. Value for money is fantastic. Cindy and her family are all really helpful and very friendly. I definitely recommend the snorkelling trip they organise too.

Everything!! Location - the beach is right at your door step while the jungle on the other side. The room is super clean and neat. Like everyone else have said, Mama’s home cooked meals were delicious. Shukri took us for a half day snorkeling trip which was wonderful. Tioman has one of the nicest and well preserved underwater world. We saw baby sharks, turtles, live corals and many more. The beaches were very clean and beautiful

Lovely ‘basic’ accommodation on Tioman. 2 villa’s at the beach; palm trees to protect you from sun. Beds are good. Bathroom is fine. Small fridge in room for your personal water, sodas and beer. Allowed to BYO beer/wine, even at restaurant part. Which has basic interiour but the food is great! Owner mr. Syukri and his mother and his wife are doing the utmost to make your stay as comfortable as you like!

The property is strategically located within a short walk from the jetty and convenience store. But most importantly a cosy “private” beach area right in front of the room unit with beautiful sea waters for a quick fun swim.
