If you’re heading to Tioman and love peace and quiet, this is the place you need to come. On this stretch of beach, you can’t choose better accommodation than the Bushman family’s place. We tried a couple of other restaurants, ate and drank there, but had to realize that nothing is more delicious than the Bushman kitchen. We went snorkeling with them twice. The captain wouldn’t rest until I saw a turtle. 😀 It was an amazing experience — 10 out of 10 for the entire staff. The accommodation is exactly as shown in the pictures, but the seaside panorama in the mornings is simply wonderful. Thank you to the whole team for this fantastic experience!

Great location directly at the beach was awesome for us. Reasonable facilities, but perfect for the price. The included restaurant offered great food for very good prices. Staff was helpful and attentive.

Great chalet on the beach! Second time coming back. You can snorkel straight out from Bushman’s and they do a fantastic Coral Snorkel tour. The restaurant serve great food and it’s a lovely place to hang out and staff are very friendly.

Absolute gem in Tioman island. The staff is so welcoming and flexible, always eager to help you. The cabins are so lovely with A/C and minibar. Nothing beats waking up with the sound of the waves. A paradise!!!

The location on the beach is just superb. A hop and a skip and you are in the ocean. The view is amazing. The little patio in front of the house is lovely to hang out on. The room itself was basic but comfortable. The AC worked very well but I only used it during the day. Not necessary at night. The restaurant is OK. Not great, but the burgers were nice. They don't sell beer, but there's other ways to get beers on Tioman. They provided me with a smooth transfer back to the ferry on Tekek. And they also gave me the tip to ask for a Juara drop-off on the way there, which I did and only had to pay 10 Ringgit extra for at the ferry terminal. They also picked me up (without telling me) from the jetty, so that was a nice surprise.

“Beautiful location right on Juara Beach”

The property is set in a stunning spot along Juara Beach, with the chalets nestled just behind a row of small palm trees — a truly charming and picturesque setting. We stayed in the last chalet, which was clean, spacious, and had everything needed for a few days of peace and relaxation. It was equipped with both a fan and air conditioning, although we never needed to use it. We especially appreciated the small veranda and the hammock right in front of our room. Sleeping with only the sound of the sea and local wildlife was a truly special experience. We didn't notice sandflies, for sure we have not been hit by them for our 4 days stay. The property also has its own restaurant, where we ate very well at prices lower than nearby restaurants. The menu offers a wide selection for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The staff were very friendly and helpful — we even arranged a lovely boat trip to Coral Island through them.

Staff were amazing and the ladies taking orders had to put up with my children asking for coffee each morning. The room was great for the price couldn't ask for more had aircon, fridge, etc. Location was spot on pure paradise.

We had a wonderful stay at Bushman on — a perfect place for anyone looking to unwind on an unspoilt, quiet beach. The location is idyllic, with a relaxed atmosphere. We stayed in the beachfront cabins, which were simple yet comfortable, with a air con and a fridge and waking up to sunrise views over the sea was unforgettable. It is run by welcoming local family, and the on-site restaurant, also right on the beach, serves a delicious mix of local dishes alongside more familiar options like burgers. It is great value and the service was consistently friendly and polite. We also took a snorkeling trip to Coral Island through them — it was a highlight of our trip.

It gives us this private beach vibes as there werent alot of people. The water is clear, the room is clean, especially the toilet! Basic necessities are covered well. The room was spacious for our family of 7! Loveee that they have hammocks outside and the foood there was delicious and the most affordable compared to the other warung nearby. There are board games and books that u can entertain yourself with. The staffs were very accommodative and kind!
