“Loved Santa Lova”

We loved our stay here, super relaxing which is just what we were after. Breakfast was included and is different every day. Slightly different variations of fresh fish/veggie option for lunch and dinner each day, or they have a small alternative menu you can choose from too. The cheese empanadas were delicious! Toilets seemed to always be clean. Showers only avail 5-10pm to save water, but no issue for us as we were in the sea most of the day anyway. Loads of sun loungers to choose from. Kayaks available to rent to explore the mangroves and local beach. Tours available too for various things. Staff and volunteers were all super friendly. Saw a few iguanas roaming around each day, but the star is defo the rescued resident racoon Kingy who is usually up to no good trying to steal your towel but super cute!

There is everything you need on an island, lots of places to just relax but also the option to do tours. I found it easy to meet new people because lunch and dinner are usually served at the same time for everyone. Staff and volunteers are nice and helpful and there is water, tea and coffee all day for a little extra fee. The value for money is definitely good at Santa Lova and I would definitely come back.

“An undiscovered paradise, where nothing is expected of you!”

Absolutely a paradise: here, there’s nothing to do but relax and meet fellow travelers. The location also offers some light entertainment — kayaking (though only one of the kayaks is really in good condition), pétanque, board games, and more. You can chill by the water in one of the comfy chairs or loungers. In the evening, the shared dining area/restaurant turns into a lively and cozy spot. We also loved having the toucan hanging around — such a fun little companion!

“Unique tropical stay, not luxury but still very enjoyable”

Very unique, lots of wildlife, good bar/food, very good WiFi, various excursions to do and various bar games to play etc. Showers & toilets also very clean!
