“Beautiful island retreat”

The place is gorgeous and lends itself both for active leisure (kayaking, swimming, visiting sights) and relaxing times (reading on the many hammocks, contemplating the gorgeous sunset whilst swinging on colourful rocking chairs). They were super accommodating and booked us a trip to see the bioluminescent plankton at 4am (one of the most incredible nature experiences of my life). Food is more than serviceable (pricier than inland — but you're on an island so it makes sense!). There's 3 beautiful cats roaming around...which is always a plus for me. I was there for a night at the beginning of May and there was only another couple staying, so the place felt like a quiet dream! Watching all kinds of birds, fish and crabs in their environment was such a joy.

The location is wonderful, super peaceful and beautiful, like a secret corner of paradise. It's isolated, as noted in reviews, but we liked that, especially with kids as they can run freely, and the hotel can organise an easy transfer to Playa Tintinpan and quite a few excursions (snorkelling, etc). We had a cabin with a balcony surrounded by the ocean and it was magic. The food is delicious, fresh and varied. We loved it. Staff is really nice.

Lovely and secluded hotel on the Tintipan Island. Great chance to switch off and relax after travelling Colombia. The food cooked by the owner and his family was always so yummy too!

Ouf room and waking to the sunrise through one doorway and sitting on the balcony to watch the sunset from the other. Hearing the waves lapping both sides of the room. Snorkeling around the hotel. Everything was kept beautifully clean. Staff were friendly and efficient. The best gin and tonic ever from Wilbur.

The location is perfect for those seeking a calm break. Surounded by the sea and isolated by the mangrove. Alfredo and his team did everything to make our stay unforgetable. Local fishermen brought their fresh catch every day and Jaime cooked delicious dishes with it. Wilmur was always a step ahead in helping us in every way and made everything seem effortless. Our night trip with Luiz to the phosphorescent lagoon was magical.

The stillness, calm, quiet, peaceful, the atmosphere in there was totally relaxing and natural, the staff kind and respectful, the rooms clean and tidy. The terrace near the seashore amazing.

Recommended experience to disconnect watching breath-taking sunsets on a remote island. Nice staff. Good juices and cocktails. It's a quiet area.

a quiet remote place on the edge of the iland with little spots to be by the water, in the shade, in a hammock or a rocking chair. Beautiful views and turquoise water. good place to chill, read, play. the friendly owner is helpful with organising transfers and more.

This place is in the middle of paradise. The facilities are comfortable - especially considering the location - and clean. Staff is very nice and food is also amazing - fish is caught every morning and cooked at night. The hotel only has a few rooms and you’ll have this paradise all for yourself. They also offer some tours and help finding the right means of transportation to get to the island.

“Exceptional ✨”

Many thanks to Alfredo, who manages a lovely crew on this beautiful island refuge. Punta Norte is quiet, colourful and clean. The women run the kitchen and prepare fresh fish and seafood. Aspiring marine biologist Miguel took us for an excursion to see jellyfish in a laguna nearby, a snorkeling trip we loved. Waking up from the sound of the waves every morning and taking a swim before breakfast ... We had a wonderful time.

Quiet ,family run hotel in stunning location with sunrise and sunset views from the room which was lovely .Fresh fish and seafood from the menu every day... the food in the evening was excellent. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay .

A true paradise, this hotel. It's a family-run business, which makes for a very authentic, charming and laid-back atmosphere. Everything is extremely clean and well-maintained. Our room offered views on the sunrise from one side, and on the sunset from the other. The food is absolutely amazing. If you're looking for a place to relax, this is it. And definitely way better than the bigger resorts on the islands, with crowded beaches blasting loud music all day long..
