Our stay at Relais des Nomades was simply outstanding and without doubt the best accommodation in the area. The property is new, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable, combining modern comfort with authentic local charm. What truly makes this place exceptional is the breathtaking view over the palm grove — waking up and watching the light over the palmerie was unforgettable. One of the best tips for visiting the gorges: don’t take the main road. Instead, go through the palmerie directly from the property for a much more beautiful and authentic experience. The owner can provide the key for the backyard access, which leads to an amazing walking route through the oasis toward the gorge. The food was excellent throughout our stay. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, fresh, and generously prepared with great local flavors. Every meal felt homemade and carefully cooked. The owner and all the staff were incredibly welcoming, kind, and attentive from the moment we arrived. Their hospitality created such a warm atmosphere that we immediately felt at home. Guests are allowed to bring their own alcoholic drinks as the place is dry which is common in Morroco. A peaceful, stylish, and authentic place with spectacular views, fantastic food, and truly wonderful people. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

“Perfect stay to enjoy the calm hours of the Todra Valley”

To visit the Todra Valley, we chose to stay overnight nearby (instead of in Tinghir) to visit and enjoy the area during times with less tourist traffic. A wise decision! A 15-minute walk to the gigantic and impressive Todra walls. Excellent room and shower. Dinner and breakfast were also very tasty – and with a beautiful view of the green valley that follows the river. Special mention for the friendly service. Parking is a gap in the rock in front of the hotel entrance.

Well located. You can start walking directly from the hotel to the desert or gorge (at one km max.). Very attentive and helpful staff. Welcome with dadels, nuts and tea was very nice. Beautiful view from the hotel reception and breakfast area.

The best place in Todra and our favourite in the Morocco trip! Perfect location. Beautiful and clean hotel, with the most exceptional view 🏔️ Most importantly, Ali the owner is super caring and just an amazing person. Suleman was also fantastic and made sure everything was perfect. Don’t go anywhere else - this place is perfect, especially for a climbing trip.

“Perfectly located hotel”

Friendly staff and good breakfast buffet. Our room was spacious, warm (in winter) and had a very nice view. You can walk from the hotel to the gorge in few minutes and also start some nice hiking from there. Very convenient.

We stayed here as a family for two nights. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We immediately felt at home. The room had a fantastic view. Breakfast was extensive. We also booked dinner, and it was fresh and delicious. In short, this hotel is highly recommended.

This hotel is a gem! Beautiful, quiet, with an astounding, unmatched view and staff and owner who are unforgettable! The hotel is nestled in the valley, between high Atlas mountains and overseeing the agricultural gardens of the community. You can walk directly into the Palmeraie leading directly to the Gorges and the village which benefits from year-round access to water. Not only are the rooms super clean but the beds are comfortable and the view from the terrasse in the room are stunning! The food was excellent! The breakfast had lots of food with fresh dates, melon and freshly squeezed orange juice. The attention to detail for high quality food was greatly appreciated. Most amazing was the staff who made us feel right at home, safe and catered to our every need. Thanks Slimane and family! A very special thank you and gratitude to the owner, Ali, who went way over and beyond in helping us deal with a difficult situation. He demonstrated a lot of care, respect, honesty and empathy and helped us resolve the situation. Ali, we can't thank you enough! You were just amazing! We will remember your gesture.

Beautiful location, amazing view, friendly staff. Staff provided us with a late lunch upon request.

Great value for price. We really enjoyed staying here. It is walking distance to Gorges Du Toudgha and a hiking trail starts right behind the property. We were given a free upgrade to a room with a balcony with a beautiful view of the valley. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed a beautiful breakfast on the rooftop terrace. The rooms are spacious and very clean. We would stay here again 👍🏻

“Fabulous”

We came for 2 nights and stayed for 5. The friendliness and helpfulness of Sliman went above and beyond. Mohamed fed us well, catered to our requirements and at a time suited to us. Our room was large, with comfortable beds. The views were amazing. The location was great with a short walk into the Gorge, also down to the river below the hotel. We were on 2 motorcycles, which we were able to park outside, and enjoyed riding the roads across the mountains to Dades Gorge. Definitely recommend. A big shukran to Sliman, we hope to see you again.

Very well located near Todgha Gorge and the room was very clean with a beautiful view up the valley. Sulayman was so helpful and accommodating and we had a great meal cooked by Mohammed. Would highly recommend for an overnight in the area!

“Beautiful view, free room upgrade”

We got a free upgrade to a room with a view. The staff was super nice, when we left they even offered us a water bottle for the road trip. There is free parking in front of the relais, which is 15 minutes away by walk from the Gorges du Toudgha.
