“A warm and great place to visit the region”

We really enjoyed our 2-night stay at Palmeraie Guest House. The staff gave us such a warm welcome and made us feel comfortable straight away. Jack the donkey, who carries luggage from the parking to the guest house, was such a fun and memorable part of the experience! The dinner was delicious and breakfast was also really good, with plenty to choose from. The location is perfect for visiting both the Todra Gorge and the Palmeraie. A lovely place to stay in Tinghir — we would definitely recommend it.

An exceptionally lovely guesthouse backing on to beautiful palm groves

Large comfortable room. Good breakfast and dinners. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. In particular the brother of the manager who covered food, service and many other things. Along with another young man who did likewise, plus he did an excellent job of guiding us on a hike through Palm Gardens and Gorge Du Todra. When we were making our booking we enquired about access as we were planning a long trip with heavy luggage. We were told in advance that there is a steep path and stairs from the road but that we would have our luggage transfered for us by staff and Jack the donkey. On arrival and departure that was done by the staff and lovely healthy looking well cared for Jack. So our stay was overall very good.

Our host was excellent. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. He arranged a guided hike to the gorge for us with one of his staff, who was also excellent. Nice terrace with tent enclosure.

We arrived late in the evening after long trip from Marrakesh in a rainy cold day and we were friendly welcomed with a warm tea; the house is very nice and the hospitality of the hosts let us immediately feel like at home. The cleanliness of the room was perfect and the abundant breakfast was lovely served in a nice typical Berber living room. Javad also helped us to organize our stay in Merzouga (which have been also super!). Sleep very well in comfortable beds.

We liked the terrace on the top of the guesthouse where we had a very good dinner and breakfast. The position was really nicely suited to stroll in the Palmeraie below and less then 10 minutes by car to the Toudra Gorges

We had the best stay here. We arrived super late after a very long drive from Marrakesh in the dark. we hadn’t stopped to eat supper and were expecting to go to bed hungry but the guest house owners were so kind to us and cooked us an omelette - that was so delicious and also soup and dates - it made the world of difference to us and it was really kind of them. the room was an excellent size and the beds were comfy. breakfast was delicious and we loved our walk round the gardens in the morning and meeting Jack the donkey. Honestly this place is a brilliant find - just wished we had stayed two nights rather than one. Thank you

We were welcomed with genuine warmth right from the start. Although we arrived at the accommodation quite late, a delicious meal was prepared for us. The whole team is very attentive, friendly, and funny, and responds to requests as a matter of course. The hike the next day was very impressive. The view of the palm oasis from the roof terrace is picturesque. We can recommend this accommodation without hesitation!

Great location, you should take your time and walk down, cross the little river and walk through the little gardens. If you follow a track on komoot you can walk in 2 hours all the way up to Toudra Canyon.
