“Lovely place in the middle of rugged mountains”

The location was great - we hiked over the pass from Tachddirt and it was a very welcome sight! The property was basic, but excellent for the area. The food was really good too, and the owner was very welcoming and helpful. Bedrooms and living room was comfortable with great views.

Ibrahim was a lovely host, good food, good conversation and provided us with the warmest room available at the time. The accommodation was really well decorated, and comfortable. The facilities were spacious. The host taught us some basic words and phrases in Berber and translated what is being shouted at prayer time. We got lost a few times in the village, but got directed by Ibrahim’s family back to the correct path, thank you!

“Simple, but nice and friendly!”

Spoiler: room and interior is simple, but as described honestly. It's a simple mountain place, so that's fine. Host super nice, communication in english easy, food good and plenty and the view from the terrace nice.

“The perfect stay after a long day of hiking”

Super cute guesthouse. This was our favourite on our hike through the Atlas Mountains. Food was amazing, it felt very remote. The host was very accommodating. We loved it here!

“Great stay”

We stayed for the night on our run/walk from Tacheddirt to Sti Fadma (self organised and without a guide). This was a really special accommodation. - Water from community life straw water filter so we didn't have to buy water. - Amazing communal sitting area with blankets - Warm shower for 10dh each - Beautiful area which has been impacted by the earthquake with La Belle View being one of the few undamaged houses. Felt a really unique, special and peaceful experience - Nice terrace for breakfast - Good food

“Basic but comfortable mountain village accommodation”

Excellent location in a Berber village high up in the Atlas Mountains. The Gite is one of a handful of properties still habitable in Timichi following last years catastrophic earthquake. The interior decor is a pleasant surprise and there is a well located terrace with a great view across the valley to the mountains. My room was basically furnished with 2 beds and a small table. It seemed well cleaned. The bathroom facilities were a shared shower room and toilet. There was a basin in the hallway outside. There were problems with the shower so I ended up using another shower after some batteries were changed on the water heater. The water was hot. I had an evening meal there which was delicious as was the breakfast the following morning. My hosts were ere very friendly and obliging.

“Great stop on our hike”

The accommodation provides everything you need for a perfect stop in the middle of a hike. Ibrahim is a wonderfully kind and knowledgeable host. I had the best tagine of my two weeks in Morocco here.

Everything was really nice. Ibrahim was really friendly and gave lots of advice. The food was super tasty. Great place to start some hikes from. Could easily arrange a transport to Ourika with the help of Ibrahim.

Brahim is a great host and welcomes you with tea. Tajines are amazing, and brahim is knowledgeable in the region and an informative, easygoing guide who will tell you more about the life in the villages.

“Amazing gite!”

This is a great gite, Brahim is a reaaally nice host, and gave us plenty of advice for our trek to Imlil. The place is super clean, views are gorgeous and dinner / breakfast are amazing! Thank you very much Brahim, see you next time!
