Overlooking the valley of Humahuaca in Tilcara, Hostel Waira offers budget accommodation, just 200 metres from the Plaza Central. Facilities include a TV lounge and a communal kitchen. The rooms of Hostel Waira are simply furnished, and some rooms have a private bathroom. Every morning, a local and international breakfast is served. Guests can also prepare meals in Hostel Waira’s communal kitchen, or outside using the grill and clay oven. Waira Hostel organises guided hiking tours to the Humauca Creek and the Quebrada de Humahuaca. The hostel also offers free Wi-Fi in its public areas.

“Good location but very basic facilities. Would stay somewhere else.”
The location was great and the outside area was nice. The owner (I think) was very helpful. Breakfast was basic but good. Our beds were made every day.

“Lovely, peaceful retreat - - colorful flowers & serenity!!”
The separate rock buildings & tons of seating under a massive tree in the courtyard were sweet & quiet. There were special touches and wonderful, colorful flowers everywhere - - It was quiet and serene.
