A beautiful hostel, in a nice location, clean, and great breakfast. Most likely the best place in the area, I absolutely recommend it.

A very cool hostel with amazing common areas, both inside and outside. The bathrooms are adjacent to the sleeping area, but they are well organized, so that was not a problem. The hostel is outside the town area, but that gives it a special charm because you can relax in the backyard without the noise, but still be in the center after a 10-min walk if you hear there is a fiesta going on. Emiliano was always cheerful and happy to share travel advice. He also immensely helped me with my luggage. If I ever come back to Tilcara, I would definitely stay at this place again.

We've stayed in a lot of hostels and this might be the best ever. Everything is so great. Caro and Emi are THE BEST, they learn everyone's names and are so kind and welcoming. The hostel is spotless and the kitchen is super well stocked with everything you would need. It was freezing when we were there, but there are loads of blankets and every room has a heater and are super comfy and cosy. Anything you need to know about trips, excursions etc. Caro and Emi will help you out and they go above and beyond to make sure everyone has a nice stay. If I could give 10,000/10 I would.

Lovely warm and cosy

We were very warmly received by the hosts. A fully equipped kitchen, clean hot showers and nice beds. Best part is that there is a great atmosphere within the hostel!

Karina was a great host, and her hostel is about the prettiest place I've ever been to. It was super nicely decorated, had a million options of places to be both inside and outside, and the kitchen was perfectly well equipped. We had to leave very early in the morning so she couldn't make us breakfast, but she prepped everything for us the night before so we just had to warm up the coffee in the morning and we had everything ready. That was so kind of her. The showers were also AMAZING, each had their own little room so you had maximum privacy, and in each room there is an area to get undressed, a sink, a few hooks and then finally the shower. The temperature of the shower was dreamy, too. We had been travelling for a really long while so it was exactly what we needed, we were very grateful. She was also very generous and lent us her hairdryer. A brilliant stay.

Nice location, only a few minutes walk to the tourist traps, best shower I ever had in a hostel, well equipped kitchen, big space with a lot of places to hang out and feel comfortable, super friendly and helpfull staff. Over all just a good vibe and so many beautifull places in the nature you can walk to. lovely!

Matius is a wonderful host, very welcoming and all round lovely. Our room was cosy, warm and clean. Shower was always hot and powerful. Free breakfast in the morn!

Matias is a great host! He really does everything to make you stay perfect! The hostel lies a bit out of the center of Tilcara but is just 5 minutes away from the buzz. It has a great atmosphere. The hostel is VERY clean and there even was a simple breakfast included. We had a private room with our own bathroom..

Extremly nice and helpful owner and staff. Very good vibe. Quiet, away from the center of town (10min walk). Clean. Good beds. Ok breakfast (wholemeal bread and fruit!). Enough warm water in showers. Very cheap for what you get!
