Room was situated on the street on one side, and had a sealed of door to the reception area on the other - which meant there was noise all/night long. Either from the street/dogs or from the TV and loudspeaker in the reception area which started at 6am until 11pm. There was barely any natural light coming in and the bathroom and furniture are extremely dated.

All in all, it's comfortable and cute and has a beautiful view from the roof, the family is super sweet and welcoming. As long as you know what to expect it's perfect for a short stay. While it's good value for money and the owners are super nice, it's not really "hostel" and the advertised shared kitchen is a myth. Actually, the family lives in part of the hostel so it's thier personal kitchen and you are not allowed to enter, there's a breakfast area where they serve you fruit coffee and bread in the morning, it has a kettle and a microwave and fridge. However there're no plates, glasses or cutlery available, you can ask every time you want something but there's nowhere to wash it after and definitely no way to cook. If you are expecting to eat out every day it's not a problem, but otherwise could be a struggle. The cleaning was ok but at times the bathroom was without paper and the toilet a mess for a couple of days.

Terrace and you can park just outside. Plenty of extra blankets in case it gets cold.

In general it's alright, it's clean and quiet. It's more like a guesthouse than a hostel since the owner's family lives there. The location is nice but be prepared to walk uphill for a while to get there. The view from the terrace is nice
