René was a great host, very friendly and welcoming. He played live music during breakfast and provided a lot of tips! It’s a good pick if you are just searching for an affordable accommodation and prefer to spend your money on activities in the area.

This was such an amazing stay! Rene the owner is very kind and helpful, knows the area really well and is easily reachable for whatever you need. Also being on this side of town makes it very quick to reach Pucara de Tilcara It's not in the centre of town, which is of course visible on the map, but there's restaurants and cafes within 7min walk. And the main street is 10 min away. It was surprisingly quiet at night. I can only recommend!

Very nice owner, always smily and take care of you. The price is so affordable even it includes free breakfast! The room is old but it’s good enough considering the price.

“Nice hostel a bit outside of the town centre”

Sept. 25: Had a big communal space, where also breakfast was served. @ground floor there was a kitchen which you could use. Bedroom with private bathroom.

Lovely place with good facilities and Rene was so nice. He also introduced us to some great music. And he has lots of information about the area.

Very friendly and helpful host. The room and place in general was clean. It was- obviously considering the price- a very basic room/hostel standard. Was positively surprised that there was a kitchen and also a simple breakfast. For once the description on booking.com actually was accurate !

“Exceptional stay”

Our stay was INCREDIBLE! We loved the breakfast, the fact that there was shampoo and soap laid out on your towel as you arrive. The view onto the mountain! The best part however was Rene (the host) who would play the flute and sing and play the guitar in the morning at breakfast! The man was so warm and welcoming and wanted to make sure that you felt at home! We liked it so much we stayed there twice actually! 100% would stay there again!

No view, windows face the corridor so little privacy. Owner seemed grumpy

Nice view from my room. Nice bathroom. Property is very clean, and staff are very hospitable. Property is also close to the cerro and Pucara (which means further from town).

We stayed only one night and were very happy with the room that had a private bath. It was very comfortable and clean. Also the gentleman that greeted us and checked us in was very nice and friendly, also very helpful. We felt very comfortable. Great value for the price, highly recommended.

“One of the best hostels”

We only stayed one night, but this is one of the best hostels we stayed at so far! We arrived very late (2am), and the owner was still very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and basic, with live music from the owner itself. Definitely worth the price!
