Host was very helpful, friendly and very responsive to communication. Instructions were clear. The place was spacious and very well equipped with free parking under cover and washing machine. I'm particularly pleased that they have a kettle to make a cup of tea.

“Really clean, comfortable, well-equipped apartment near La Selva”

We stayed here to access guided walks at La Selva Research Station, and it far exceeded our expectations. The apartment is really clean and has brilliant kitchen facilities, a warm shower and super tidy clean decoration. The host was friendly and provided us with some restaurant recommendations. The location is great for accessing La Selva - a short drive away. And the experience we had at La Selva was also brilliant.

The host is friendly and understands what travelers need. The room has everything you could possibly need, and we had a good stay at this accommodation. Everything is clean and tidy. We also park our motorcycle safely. Definitely coming back again when I visit Costa Rica someday in the future.

The place is as described, clean, new and exceptionally well equipped. Our host Pablo was very friendly and helpful, and gave us suggestions for dining as well as the best produce vendor in the area. The location is ideal - in a small quiet village [La Flaminia; not Tigre, by the way] just outside Puerto Viejo and off the main Route 4, very close to the amazing La Selva Research Station (don't miss one of their tours for incredible wildlife!), but in a quiet and secure spot - no barking dogs, roosters or traffic noise! Fabulous kitchen, great hot showers, quiet A/C: it's not in the rainforest itself, but it's a great place to relax after a day in the rainforest.

“Great value, spacious accommodation”

New, well provisioned, spacious apartment in a peaceful location. Communication was excellent and help given on travelling by bus to get there and onward as we didn't have a car. The facilities were excellent: very clean, good quality kitchen equipment, large hot shower, comfortable bed and pillows all at a great price point. It was a bonus to have the twin tub washing machine We wandered around the area and saw lots of birds including toucans, green macaws and aracari. In our month and a half travelling in Costa Rica, it was the nicest place we stayed. And the WiFi was brilliant

“Fabulous”

I absolutely loved my stay at Kapaliz and stayed for one extra night. The contact with Pablo was easy and he gave me clear instructions before I checked in. The apartment is in a very pleasant, quiet area. It has everything you need for an excellent stay. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom is very modern with a huge shower. There is a washing machine and a tumble dryer in the outside area, which I found so practical! I enjoyed the space, comfort, tranquility and cleanliness of this beautiful apartment. Generally the best place I have stayed in so far in my Costa Rica trip.

Nice place to stay close to Sarapiqui, all new and clean, with a washing machine

The apartment was well equipped and spacious. The bed was comfy, the kitchen well equipped, good sized bathroom and hot water in the shower. The host communicated well and made sure we had all we needed.

Pablo is an extremely nice host and the accommodation is awesome. Nice, clean and extremely good value for the money.

“Amazing host and an immaculte apartment”

The nicest host I have experienced in my travels. He went above and beyond to help me before, during and even after my stay by making sure I reached my next destination okay and offered to help me arrange further transport! The accommodation is immaculate with good a/c and a well equipped kitchen. It is in a quiet neighbourhood with secure gates.

“Nice clean and relaxing appartment”

Clean, smells good, AC, nice little kitchen, private parking and gated access. Nice people !!! Perfect spot to visit sarapiqui from and more. We stayed only one night as we were transitioning but theres a nice nightwalk (Sarapiqui Xperience) in La Virgen. Cash only:). The bed are comfy of course. The overall look is very satisfying too!
