Overview
On the shores of the Sea of Galilee, The Scots Hotel is set in a historic building overlooking the Golan Heights. This former hospital is now a luxurious hotel with swimming pool. The Scots Hotel's rooms are divided between the old and the new wing. They are all air-conditioned and come with a fridge and a tea/coffee maker. Some rooms overlook the lake. The Torrance restaurant serves rich gourmet food, including Galilee specialities. The wine cellar is stocked with local and international wines.

“The food, the property, the pool is all beautiful”
The property is beautiful, the food is amazing, the rooms are nice enough. Tiberias is really just a perch to see the Gallilee so, despite the fact that the town is nothing great, the hotel is a fabulous base for exploring the area.

The staff were friendly and attentive, the building and gardens are beautiful. The atmosphere is quiet and calm. The meals we had dinner and breakfast were beautiful, a great selection of food and excellent quality.
