Overview
Golan Hotel is located in the historic centre of Tiberias. It offers beautiful views over the lake and Mount Hermon, and an outdoor pool. Use of the hot tub is free. At Hotel Golan you will have a wellness centre with gym and sauna. You can book massages and other treatments. Refurbished in 2011, the swimming pool features a special children's pool. The restaurant serves a full Israeli breakfast and international kosher dishes. Rooms here have air conditioned and cable TV and have great views. The Sea of Galilee is just 1.5 km away.

“Great little hotel, brilliant pool and friendly staff.”
We stayed in the Premium rooms as a free upgrade from the standard rooms. Wonderful welcome from manager Mirjam, who was so lovely and helpful. The pool area is excellent and the view is stunning. The view noted so parts of the hotel are refurbished to a really good standard.

the staff were so helpful and welcoming pool was a really good size with plenty of seats and loungers we had a room with a balcony and side view of the Sea of Galilee which was excellent good variety at breakfast could not fault it

Unfortunately it was all a dislike.Fortunately we booked for only one night.The reception staff was fine , but the cleaning personnel interrupted my son"s stay three times without even knocking at the door. At 8:00 p.m...at 8:00 a.m and at 10:00 p.m. Quite an unacceptable behavior.. The bathroom had traces of fungus around lavatories and the ceiling shower didn't work. The breakfast was horrible: tinned fruit, peaches and pineapples..wich is a lack of pride in the produce Israel has. Tomatoes and cucumber and cheases ok. Bread: no bagel on sight, no salmon. A shame.

The stunning views, the swimming pool and excellent breakfast. We were moved to a room with a balcony.
