We returned to the Astoria for Pessach and Seder Night, after an absence of many years. The hotel has been beautifully expanded and renovated in a style that feels welcoming and family-orientated. A lot of thought was clearly invested in its planning to include quiet reading corners, an acoustic ceiling making the dining area quiet, plenty of conveniently placed power points in the bedroom, a comfortable bed, and lots of storage space for clothes. The Seder table was thoughtfully set up with a seder plate, wine, matzo and salt water for each family. Thank you.

This is a wonderful and really high-quality Jewish Hotel near Gennesaret lake. The hotel is absolutely wonderful because there is a Jewish woman at the reception who can speak 7 different languages and she talks about different things wonderfully and wisely. Likewise, the kitchen staff is wonderful under the leadership of the kitchen manager, and the kitchen manager will dance with you when he dances Shalom Shalom. And the hotel has a great swimming pool where children can have fun. I will come back.

We came at October the 7th and stayed two nights longer than we have planned because the staff and the owner made us feel very safe. They told us where to go safely, they even invited us for breakfast. The pool area was very relaxing. We wish you all the best, we hope there will be peace very soon and people can enjoy the hotel and its surroundings again.

The hotel upgraded us to a suite room which was bigger, good looking with a balcony to the pool. the bath was Luxurious. the inner hotel looks very good, clean, modern and tidy.there is good mini refrigerator and nice lights.

Gentle and dedicated staff always ready to help you especially Mr Ziad on front desk. Perfect comfy and beautiful rooms with nice balcony and bathroom. Convenient and beautiful swimming pool and free parking lot included. Also if you will stay there please don't forget to feed a lovely white and tigered 3 months lonely kitten at the entrance steps of the hotel (and ADOPT Him if you can) Having lost his mother he really deserves it! (see picture below)

Nice 3 star hotel with comfortable rooms and swimming pool. Located not iin the center of Tiberias, but local bus transportation is very good.
