Overall, I'd rate our stay at Las Casitas Masdache positive, but with one big BUT... I'll start with the positives: - The property has a charming, idyllic atmosphere, with beautiful views, a wonderful garden, and a terrace. - The location is excellent for exploring the island (we had a car). - The cottage is also very well equipped; nothing was missing. - A plus for the electric heater (our stay was in mid-February, and the cottage was cool).

The cottage was beautiful, cosy, quaint and homely. We had everything we needed to make our stay an enjoyable and relaxing experience. The host Leo was exceptionally helpful, hospitable and kind. Whenever we had any problems, he fixed it immediately. He always made himself available if we needed kind of assistance. A beautiful quiet location with easy access to the rest of the island with a bus service which was located just by our accommodation. Beautiful scenic views of mountains, nearby beaches and loved Puerto del Carmen with the harbour, beach, shops, cafes and restaurants.

“Nice little compact bungalow with everything you'll need”

Compact, well equipped and comfortable stay. We had everything we needed for a self catering stay. Rental price was very good and the owner Leo was very welcoming. He sorted out a couple of problems during the stay very quickly in person. There is plenty of outside space and seating with areas to shelter from the wind if needed. You can relax in the sun from sunrise right through until evening due to the layout. The location is very convenient for visiting anywhere on the island - only 15/20 mins by car to Arrecife or Costa Teguise, 15 mins into the national park and 25/30 mins down to Playa Blanca.

“Cosy, comfortable, equipped with great facilities.”

Beautiful location, very comfortable bed - on the firmer side which was perfect for me (5’1”) and my much taller partner (6’1”) so that I didn’t roll into him. Beautiful view from the back terrace. The village is stunning, our favourite village on the island. Our host Leo was incredibly friendly and gave us a whole range of information about the island. Would definitely stay here again.

“Perfect stay, highly recommended!”

This was honestly the best accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. The cottage was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we could possibly need, every small detail was thought of. The yard was amazing, a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The host was absolutely wonderful, kind, welcoming, and always available to help. They provided all the information and tips we needed for exploring the island and made sure we felt completely comfortable. We were also greeted with welcome drinks and snacks, which was such a thoughtful and heartwarming touch. We were truly impressed by everything, from the comfort of the cottage to the hospitality.

“Perfect stay”

Leo was very helpful and though he didn’t manage to meet us, he provided a lot of useful information. The house was cute and perfect for a couple. Clean and had everything we needed, including coffee machine and everything to cook your own meal. Its location is perfect - right in the middle of the island, easy access to everywhere! Great outdoor area where we had our breakfasts. We were worried the traffic would keep us awake - there were a handful of cars only!

This place is perfect if you want a secluded location with great views of the surrounding landscape. The back garden is tastefully decorated with many cacti and several seating areas, and you can look at a volcano while you have your meal outside! The kitchen was well equipped and the place was clean.

Great host always there to help you, perfect location if you want to explore island with rent a car. Clean house, big backyard.

“Friendly host; centrally located; quiet area; very clean”

Leo was and amazing host - responsive, friendly, and flexible when it came to my needs. The house is centrally located, in a quiet area, which was perfect for me who wanted to explore every corner of the island while at the same time having a tranquil place to rest in between the exploration. The house was also extremely clean. I would definitely consider booking it again.

Central location in a beautiful setting to explore the island. Close to airport (11 min by car). Very peaceful and quiet. Great and helpful host and great communication before and throughout stay. The property itself is lovely and cosy with a beautiful garden and lot of space and tables to enjoy breakfast, coffee or dinner. Everything we needed was there and the coffee machine was a bonus.

“Simply amazing”

The house is tiny but perfect for a couple. The house was super clean when we arrived, so clean I couldn’t tell if the door of the shower was opened or closed. Yes that clean! The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need. You have a dehumidifier and a heater if needed. The view on the backyard is absolutely stunning, the garden is very cute with a beautiful place that you can enjoy breakfast outside and with wonderful cactus. The house has simple things that make all the difference, you have plugs next to the bed with double extension so you can use the lamp and charge your phone. You have an electric oven in the kitchen, that is super useful, so you can buy ready made food ( frozen lasagnas, etc) if you are lazy to cook. The location was perfect, right next to La Geria and the Timanfaya natural park. You are very quickly everywhere. The host was very helpful and sent us a lot of great information, before we arrived. Absolutely amazing and I hope to be back!

“If you're looking to escape the crowds, just go for it!”

The house was exactly as pictured in the photos, a cute little countryside house. The decor and the view from the garden was incredible as well as the position, far from the crowded touristy areas with hotels but close enough to the main attractions of Lanzarote (about 30min more or less). It's a very quiet area, and even if house is directly on a road, we could sleep just fine with windows open. Last but not least, Leo - who was always present even though we never met him. Indications were on point, he gave us lots of recommendations and also there was a lovely welcoming gift at our arrival.

“Nice house for one or two persons. Good location for cycling.”

Nice house directly in Masdache. In the morning you can sit outside for breakfast. Sun until 5 pm on th terrace. Kitchen is good everything fits for two persons coffe machine and teapot and hot water kettle for tea. Micorwave. Fast Internet. the owner is quickla answering your requests. Parking in front of the house.
