“Nice Matagorda Apartment.”

Apartment is about an 8 minute walk from the sea front, up a hill which is fairly steep just as you approach the apartment complex. The whole place was really quiet - I hardly saw anyone else there the whole time. Inside is just as depicted in the pictures. It's quite a basic apartment, but it's not pretending to be anything else, so it's absolutely fine for the price. It was also very clean. From the back terrace (which has 1 rather old sun lounger), you can see planes approaching and coming in to land. Note: if aircraft noise bothers you, you shouldn't be staying in Matagorda! :) And at this time of year (early June) the back terrace got the sun from around 9am - 3pm. Similarly the front terrace, which faces the pool, is in the shade until around 1pm, but then is in the sun for the rest of the day. This terrace has 2 decent sun loungers and a little table & chairs. It's also quite well shielded from the wind which is good. The wifi worked consistently well. It's not blazing fast, but it handled netflix and youtube streaming with zero issues. The management company do a good job regarding information on the apartment/area, and how to access the keys to get in. Though one small annoyance was that the listing on booking.com says a safety deposit of 150 euros is required, and it must be in cash. So I took 150 euros in cash with me, expecting to have to hand it over to someone. The safety deposit is actually done via card payment online! This is a much better, more convenient option, I just wish they made it clear that was the case because it would have saved me having to exchange and carry around 150 euros in cash... Overall I was very happy with the apartment, and would stay there again in the future.

Overall, our impressions were very positive. The apartment was nicely furnished, with a comfortable kitchen, a large bathroom, and a large rear terrace overlooking the runway in the distance. Unfortunately, there was already trash outside, making prolonged exposure to the terrace less pleasant. However, it was nice to sit at the small round table (with only two chairs) in the front and have a coffee. The location is close to the promenade, taxi rank, and bus stop. Shops are a bit further away, but it's a pleasant walk.

The apartment was very well maintained and modern, with an amazing sea view from the back terrace. The complex was mainly residential, lovely and quiet for a much needed relaxing break and just a short walk to shops and restaurants. Everything was spotless on our arrival. Would happily book the apartment again.

This apartment has everything you will need. From all the kitchen necessity to the bathroom with towels and toiletries. The washing machine was a real bonus. Both terraces are great, back has sun in the morning till about 1pm then the front till sunset. Great WiFi and the smart TV has all channels and streaming you need. Keys are left in a lockable box outside front door, you get the code once you have paid the deposit thru the rental ninja portal. So simple. I arrived at 1pm just to leave my bags as the cleaning was being done from previous tenants. Came back at 3pm. Would definitely come back.

Very comfortable apartment, well equipped and only 5 minutes from the beach and shops/restaurants. The front entrance was sheltered and got the winter sun right until the sun went down.

The location and the apartment was perfect. It is a very quiet area, shops, restaurants and beaches are very close, just a few minutes' walk away.

Apartment home from home very clean comfortable and had everything you need for short or long stay .Two terraces with sundbeds provided.Loved watching the planes arriving departing from back terrace.. No noise from this when in apartment.Shared swimming pool .Short walk to beach shops .Very peaceful apartment.We would definitely return..
