“It wasnt a good stay this time”

the room was very nice looking - was nice and big - lots of room - room was clean - suplies in bathroom - asked and received a coffee maker - we stay here everytime we are in thunderbay - Very nice owner there

I think for the price I paid it was a good place to stay. Other properties on the same street, which I have stayed in, were not as good.

I really liked that I could get a smoking room!

ongoing room renovations are good. The owner cares about his customers and wants you to come back and we did while we were in town.

Excellent mattress, very quiet. Have stayed here for a night, a few times on our way to Sudbury.

“What you'd expect”

Motel office stunk of just-smoked Marijuana. Dried-on snot, wiped on the walls by a previous guest, awaited us at the bedside and in the bathroom. Nice. Nobody cleans anymore, nobody cares. I am frankly fed up with travel and paying too much for shabby lodging.

The location was close to the highway and close to the restaurant we chose for dinner.

It didn’t feel clean to mee- although the building is old which could have been a factor. The exterior stairs to the 2nd floor were not flat but slightly angled so didn’t feel very stable.

The motel was gross. It’s what you book when you’ve been driving 13 hours and you need a bed. We paid $176 for a room with filthy floors, stained sheets and no freaking hot water even tho the bathroom was the nicest part about the room. Would never stay again! Next time instead of panic booking and being taken advantage of because there is nothing left online I would drive around and look for vacancy signs.
