Very central. Staff were great. A good shower and windows that opened. Breakfast was acceptable.

“Fantastic stay”

I stayed here for 5 nights and I could say it was very good value for the money. The room was so clean and spacious. The shared bathroom was clean and had stock of toilet paper and bath gels. Even though the bathrooms are shared, it was enough for the whole floor. The breakfast was healthy and fantastic and the coffee tastes so good! The hotel was 10 mins away from the station, although the walk was a struggle with my luggage, the view was very scenic! Thun is very beautiful and the staff in Hotel Schwert are very accommodating and friendly. I would definitely go back!!

“Great small hotel, centrally located”

Lovely old building off the main square. Comfortable bed in a nice-sized room with a separate bathroom which was clean and just for us during this stay. Very good breakfast.

The hotel is so quaint - loved it! A very old building with creaky wood floorboards but decorated lovely. Real character. And such a lovely breakfast - beautifully presented.

“Beautiful hotel in the center of Thun.”

This place is situated in the center of Thun, right under the castle. Awesome stay for a couple of nights if you are visiting the area. Parking is not available but there is a underground parking spot very close by. The bathrooms are shared but they are very clean. Nice typical swiss breakfast.

Right in the centre of Thun old town, the building is full of character. Nice cozy room.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights, and its location was excellent—within a 10-minute walk from both the train station and Lake Thun's boat dock. The gentleman at the front desk was very courteous, helping us with our luggage and providing us with maps for sightseeing. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The lady who prepared the breakfast was also very friendly. As we were leaving, we ran into them and exchanged a cheerful farewell. It was truly a delightful trip.

key handover, they would have even provided gluten-free breakfast. Which was totally unexpected and given the time we were getting up not feasable for us. Would defintively recommend the place.

A fantastic location in the heart of the old town Breakfast was delicious with home made Bircher fruit muesli and bread, cheeses, nuts,dried fruit and croissant The hotel itself was cute and right on the Main Street. Checkin was easy and we had freedom to come and go as we pleased.
