I would like to give positive feedback about Thulusdhoo, a local island in the Maldives. The island is located just a 30-minute speedboat ride from Malé Airport, which makes it very easy to reach. It has an excellent surf spot and is small, idyllic, and truly charming. An absolute highlight is the beach at Samurai Panorama Hotel. We stayed at Samurai Panorama for a couple of nights, and our room was very clean and cozy. The hotel is located right on the beach, and the balcony offers a beautiful sea view. The lobby is especially unique and inviting, with white sand covering the floor, creating a very special and charming atmosphere. Masoom, who works at the hotel, is an amazing person—always positive, smiling, and incredibly warm. He took excellent care of us and helped with everything we needed. He is truly the soul of the place, and his warm personality makes the stay at Samurai Panorama even more enjoyable and welcoming. Every evening, we relaxed on the cozy beach in front of the hotel, surrounded by palm trees and atmospheric lighting. One evening, we had a private dinner for two on a honeymoon platform built right at the water’s edge, under the moonlight and starry sky, with the gentle sound of the sea. This was one of the highlights of our trip—so romantic! Next to Samurai Panorama, there is also an excellent restaurant where we had possibly the best grilled shrimp we’ve ever tasted. A big thank you to Masoom! I can warmly recommend Samuraiz Panorama Hotel and Thulusdhoo Island. On Thulusdhoo, you can enjoy the magic of the Maldives at a reasonable price while experiencing the peaceful atmosphere of a local island with stunning white sandy beaches.

The guest house features a very beautiful interior design, both in the entrance and dining area as well as in the rooms. The service is absolutely outstanding — always friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food is good and can be enjoyed either inside or outside with a lovely ocean view. I would definitely book this guest house again.

“The best local stay in Thulusdhoo!”

We had an amazing stay and truly couldn’t have asked for better. The hotel is very clean, nicely decorated, and welcoming. We really loved the downstairs/common area, which is perfect for relaxing and chilling. The room is simple but spacious and comfortable, with everything you need. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and we really appreciated having an electric adapter in the room. A special mention goes to Sun-J from the front office, who was absolutely fantastic. He helped us with so many things, from exchanging money to organizing activities, and was always available and attentive. He truly made our stay even better. The location is perfect, right by the beach and next to Bikini Beach, which made everything very convenient. We also enjoyed the breakfast and had the chance to do many activities while staying on this local island. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this hotel!

The real Maldives with soul! I highly recommend it. If you want to experience the authentic Maldives, experience the local flavor, and receive impeccable service, this is the perfect place! The guesthouse lived up to all expectations. What won me over: Location on a local island: It's a unique experience. You live alongside the Maldivians, see their daily life, and can visit a local shop or cafe. And yet, the perfect sandy beach (Bikini Beach) is just a 3-minute walk away. Cleanliness and comfort: The room is small but very well thought out. Air conditioning, a good shower, Wi-Fi, and daily cleaning. Everything is clean and tidy. Breakfast and assistance with meals: Breakfast (included in the price) was modest but delicious. The staff helped with bike rentals, advised on the best places to dine on the island, and how to organize snorkeling. Price/quality: This is the best value you can imagine in the Maldives. Everything you need is there, without overpaying for the "name" of an expensive resort. Special thanks to the manager, Sunjay! Sunjay is the main reason I want to come back. He's more than just a receptionist; he's a true guide, assistant, and friend to every guest. He explained the island in detail, marking all the important places on the map. Every day, he asked how we were planning and whether everything was to our liking. His energy, genuine smile, and willingness to help at any moment made our vacation truly carefree. He's that rare person who puts his heart and soul into his work. If you're looking for more than just a bed for the night, but lively communication, support, and a deep cultural immersion, this guesthouse is for you. It makes you feel like you have someone inside you in the Maldives. A huge thank you to Sunjay and the whole team!

It was a nice home away from home with top tier ocean views from the room’s balcony.

We throughly enjoyed our stay loved our rooms, Grand Suite and Vista Suite. The hosting from Sanjay was excellent. Good choice of restaurants along the beach. Would recommend the trip to see the turtles.

It was at a good location, beachfront. With plenty of space. Probably even at full occupancy. The staffs were amazing. Rooms are small but comfortable. Staffs especially the manager is superb. Suggested places to visit and eat. Even offering us late checkout since our departure was a little after 12. Would definitely recommend.
