Built in the 1960s, The Denman Hotel is located in the heart of Thredbo Village, just a few steps from the ski chairlifts. During the winter months this mountain retreat offers a day spa, a restaurant and a bar. All rooms at The Denman include central heating, cable TV and a DVD player. Some rooms have a private balcony with stunning views of the Snowy Mountains. The Terrace Restaurant offers casual and wholesome European style dining in a friendly and warm atmosphere. “Enjoyable autumn, active vacation, not for the lazy.”
The location is lovely and the view from our room on the balcony was fantastic. The hotel is old and the rooms are small, but very clean and comfortable The breakfast was a surprise and very enjoyable The shower was hot and the room supplied all the necessities, including bath robes. We brought our bikes, and rode up to mount Kosciusko. What a view!

The location is convenient and helpful to explore Thredbo, and also many other trails to walk, comfy beds, and sufficient amenities in the hotel make it a good stay. The staff is helpful and gives you directions for parking, since they don't have an in-house parking space and local locations

We love the Denman. Location is amazing. The food and service at the Terrace restaurant was top notch. Prices are up there but you get what you pay for at the snow. We'll be back next year.
