“I can honestly recommend Kirkwood 4 if you go to Thredbo. You will not be disappointed.”

The location of Kirkwood apartments is great. It is an easy walk to the Friday Flat beginners ski area of Thredbo. From there, you can catch the Gunbarrel chairlift to access the whole of the mountain. Or you can hop on the free shuttle and go straight to the heart of the village to catch other lifts or the gondola. Après-ski, it's an easy walk to the village to go shopping and/or visit restaurants. The apartments themselves are very comfy and clean, if a little outdated, décor-wise. But the amenities are great, the kitchen and facilities well-appointed and communication with the booking team easy.

It had underground heating so was warm without being stuffy, excellent location near chairlift and bus terminal and a short walk to the village. It had a keypad entry which was excellent as 3 couples so no lockouts. Great comfy bed, spacious and has parking. Plenty of pots and pans, ice ready made for drinks. There was a breakfast bench and a dining table and a coffee table so games and food could all go at the same time. I would highly recommend this place.

“Wonderful”

Thredbo is very expensive and Kirkwood 4 is great value for money for Thredbo this year. It's a lovely place to stay with almost everything you need for a family ski holiday; it is warm, very roomy, has a drying room, easy access door code, dishwasher, laundry, parking, and is close to the ski lift. We had a wonderful time.
