Overview
Featuring beautiful views of the mountain ski slopes, Candlelight Lodge offers spacious rooms with free Wi-Fi. It features a restaurant, bar and cosy lounge area with open fireplace. Most rooms also feature a balcony. All rooms at Candlelight Lodge Thredbo have a private en suite bathroom, Smart TV, and small refrigerator. Heating and tea/coffee making facilities are provided. Loved the location. I woke up rested and with a beautiful view out my window. The sauna was the highlight for me and my family.

“A very traditional European style alpine lodge at en excellent price”
I had two short stays and hence sampled 2 rooms. Both had a view, both had an unfashionable and very useful plentiful supply of cupboards and storage and both rooms were large and had a view. They were also very helpful in storing luggage and medicine in the fridge for me while I went hiking for the week. A great selection of German beer in the bar.

“Thredbo during the long weekend and bike fest made my stay too noisy and deprived me of sleep.”
Breakfast was excellent. The general character of the hotel was very pleasant and promising.

“Great place with great staff. We enjoyed all aspects of the location and lodge”
Room was a great size and comfortable with 4 to 5 people. Breakfast was included which was basic but great for the kids. view was great. Location was also good. Staff were superb and the bar downstairs was great for an afternoon beer and nightcap.
