Overview
Set in the heart of Thredbo, Boali Lodge offers fully-catered accommodation with 3 meals a day included (B&B option available in summer).. The lodge is just 2 minutes’ walk from the chair lifts. Most rooms offer beautiful views of the Crackenback Range. Guests enjoy a communal lounge room with a fireplace. There is a children’s playroom with a TV, board games and football table. A shared fridge, glassware and tea/coffee making facilities are available 24/7. Internal bike/ski storage is available to guests. Breakfast, a packed lunch and a 2-course set menu dinner are served in the communal dining room which offers uninterrupted mountain views. We have set meal times, with two meal sittings including a kids-only time at 6pm each evening. The menu cannot cater to a large range of dietary choices so guests are advised to inform the property after booking if you have vegetarian, medical or religious dietary requirements. Each double, twin or family room is heated and includes a private bathroom. Bed linen and towels are provided in all rooms. A heated ski storage and drying room and guest laundry are provided on-site. Boali Lodge Thredbo is a 2-minute walk from shops, restaurants and the golf course. It is 2 minutes’ drive from Friday Flat. As is typical of ski lodges, be sure to pack a pair of socks or shoes to be worn indoors. Outdoor shoes are not permitted inside the lodge, to keep the rugged mountain elements where they belong. Shoe storage and drying rooms are available at the lodge entrances.

The location is excellent as we used the chairlift and gondola regularly. We came the hike/walk and had a great experience, particularly hiking up Mt Kosciuszko.

The room is on the top floor but the luggage lift is not working. Parking space is limited, all guest need to double park. If we come for a full day hike, we park the car there in the outer lane, we may be blocking other guest. At the end I need to take the car to public Carpark to avoid any issue.

Location location! We came to snowboard as beginners and the lodge was conveniently located near the red bus pick up spot which took us to Friday flat and returned us to the lodge each day. We were also walking distance across from the Kosciuszko chairlift which was fantastic, and the Alpine coaster. Beautiful views from the loft which we stayed in, and a lovely window in the ceiling with a shutter which could be manually open door closed. Convenient drying rooms at the bottom for all of our wet snow gear, and a coin operated washing machine and dryer was very handy. There was a luggage lift which helped us avoid lifting our heavy bags up a further four flights of stairs.
