Really lovely staff and location. We biked, we fished, we went on a boat, we went for a walk. Plenty to do! The owner is super friendly and the food very tasty.

“Best resort, Best host!”
Exceptional ! Don't know where to start. Jason, the owner is the best host ever. The rooms are comfy and spacious. The breakfast and dinner are super! We have an one year old and Jason made him breakfast too. We would highly recommend this resort. We really enjoyed every moment. From BBQ to exploring.

“October 4-6 2021, Couple in 20s”
The room was very spacious. Decent size bed looking over the lake. Large bathroom with the biggest shower I’ve ever seen. The staff are extremely friendly and always want to help and do more to make our stay more enjoyable. Location is good. Lots of peace and quiet and not too far away from the main tourist attractions in the area. We had dinner one night and it was good, however the breakfast was very average with not much choice. Vegetables and steamed buns only.

“Five star experience”
I have been living and traveling in China for 6 years and this is by far the best hotel stay service I have encountered. The staff were kind, attentive and very helpful. The food was delicious, the view from the balcony is incredible and the rooms were super clean. Highly recommend it to anyone who is planning a trip to Qiandao lake!

“Best experience in a hotel so far in China”
Best experience in a hotel so far in China. I’ve been all around the country during my 5 years here and this was exceptional. The staff are so nice, they upgraded us to a better room on arrival since we arrived there on a day that wasn’t busy. They brought us a nice free fruit platter on our first evening there and on our departure day, we didn’t wake up on time to get breakfast so they packed us a little breakfast to go. The room we got was so pretty and extremely clean, much better than most hotels around this price. The view is amazing and my favorite point, we have access to kayaks, free of charge and free of limits. pure freedom. I’m definitely going back there. -From my boyfriend

We were very satisfied with the hospitality of the owner - he was extremely friendly and helpful. He helped us to book tickets for various activities (hot air balloon, paragliding, VR stuff). As we don't speak Chinese, he helped us to order dinner via the app. Late check-out was allowed. The breakfast was amazing. The view was stunning. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere if you want to escape from busy life in the city.

“Wonderful location, very comfortable room and the best boss ever!”
Loooove the location, only a five/ten minute drive to nearby tourist spots/bus station etc, but the hotel is located tucked away down a back lane behind the mountains so it's super quiet and sat right on the water. The deluxe king rooms are spacious and comfortable and the bathrooms have fantastic showers with good pressure and never an issue with hot water (even at peak time when the hotel was fully booked). Breakfast is Chinese style but simple and delicious steamed buns, eggs, fruit etc and there is also tea/coffee available. You can request to have lunch or dinner at the hotel too, just ask the boss in advance - i had a simple but wonderfully tasty lunch on my last day (ask for the aubergine dish!!). The boss is fantastic and happy to assist with any problem, and you can contact him through Wechat anytime. He will also help you book tickets for attractions etc at discounted prices, can arrange a taxi to pick you up from the train station on the first night, and can assist with planning your day, just ask him for recommendations!

Fantastic service from the host! Best Chinese breakfast ever in 9 years in China! It was a great view out of our window. Very clean and authentic room. I highly recommend to stay there if you want to escape from a big city and spend time in a country side like house with comfort.
