An incredible 2 night stay whist cycling the Velo Francette. Pepita was a charming host, the villa was stunning, immaculate and the attention to detail was amazing. We have stayed in many hotels and B&B's and this has to be one of the best ever. The breakfast was fantastic. Would highly recommend. Thank you Pepita for such a wonderful stay.

What a lovely place to stay. Pepita is a wonderful host who looks after you well and provided a fantastic breakfast. Lovely property location within easy walk to bars and restaurants. Safe storage for our bicycles at night. Great room with everything you need, and everything works well. Would definitely stay again.

“Perfect place to stay at Thouars”

A perfect place to stay. Beautiful house and lovely host. My husband had been unwell the previous night so instead of cycling from Saint-Mathurin, I phoned Pepita to say we were taking the train to Saumur. She immediately offered to meet us at the station to carry our bags for us to Thouars, and then phoned again to say that there was a train from Samaur to Thouars that afternoon to save us cycling the 20 km. How kind, and we much appreciated her offer of carrying our bags but opted for the train. Very comfortable room and bed and the breakfast was superb. Highly recommended.

Located in very center of town, old style villa with nice big stylish rooms. There is private parking available for cars. Owners very helpful. Breakfast excellent not only continental but owners made for me scrambled eggs with beacon on request. Bed was comfortable and I slept well.

What did I not like? This was absolutely perfect! From the welcome at the door, the hose for my (by then rather dirty!) bike, the warmth of the room, the bath tub, the coffee and tea facilities in the room, the breakfast of kings (and queens!), the decor... It was absolutely perfect. Just what I needed half way through a rather tough ride! The hosts are such lovely people, who take care of every detail. Fresh bread from the bakery in the morning, fresh fruit, the best coffee. Absolutely can't fault it.

It is a beautiful old house, well looked after and so clean. Both the owners were so welcoming and could not do enough for us. They even booked a restaurant for us. Breakfast was just amazing, definitely the best breakfast we have experienced in a Chambres d’hote in France.

Perfectly located and easy to find, Villa des Glycines had everything we needed for an overnight stop. Pepita was very warm and welcoming and helpful about finding us a restaurant and giving us some local advice.

Breakfast was excellent and very generous Pepita and Pierre went beyond expectation to provide a lovely evening meal for their guests because we arrived on a bank holiday and nothing was open locally. The house was very elegant and well decorated with a magnificent hallway/staircase.
