Overview
Located in Thorold, Ontario, The Inn At Lock Seven overlooks the 7th lift lock of the Welland Canal. Each guest room has an outdoor seating area with a view of the locks. Free Wi-Fi access and a mounted flat-screen cable TV are included in every non-smoking room at the Inn at Lock Seven. The sound-proof rooms are also equipped with a refrigerator, a coffee maker and furnished with a work desk. There is a gift shop available at the Inn at Lock Seven and the front desk offers a fax and copy service. The Pen Centre Mall and St. Catharine's Museum are both within 5 km from the Inn. We liked the security of the premise, having the rooms separated from the outside with a locked door. The room was homely. The view to watch the lock was amazing. The hotel receptionist was very efficient and friendly throughout check-in and check-out.

“Convenient But Needs An Upgrade”
We like the location as it's right beside the Welland Canal and you get to watch big freighters and other boats go in and out of the lock which is right in front of this Inn. It's also in Thorold where we were visiting family so it was convenient.

Absolutely loved watching the ships pass through the lock. Great view from the top floor. Staff was also very friendly. Big room.

“Nice place to stay with easy access to Niagara on the Lake”
We didn't have breakfast there. I wasn't aware that it was available. We went into Thorold, though there was not much open on a Sunday morning. There is a good Tim Hortons, though. The place was quiet, in a nice neighbourhood, and the room was easily accessible for all of us, like a motel. Good for people needing walkers. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Lots of parking. Picnic tables were provided outside the rooms for viewing the ships going through the lock.

“It was very restful”
Location was awesome...right on the welland canal..updates have been added since we were there the last time..the only thing that would be nice to have is a microwave in the room... Beds were comfortable, clean and it was quiet..very restful weekend...
