“Absolutely exceptional”

The staff were exceptional, the rooms were just fantastic. We stayed in a sea view villa and it was huge, the bathroom was incredible! Couldn’t have had a more wonderful stay. One thing I’d change would be the QR codes / electronic ordering on the tables, we would much rather see a menu than faff around on phones. Otherwise everything was just perfect, we had an amazing time and miss it so much.

It's in an beautiful location with amazing view. The buildings are all traditional wooden structures. The staff was super friendly and attentive.

Unfortunately our experience at Santhiya Koh Phangan Resort & Spa was very disappointing despite the beautiful location and views. We had major issues with the laundry service. We handed our laundry in on the 6th at around 3pm and were told it would be returned by 12pm the following day. Shortly before the expected delivery time, we were contacted to confirm a laundry bill of over 3,400 THB, despite no pricing information being explained beforehand. We were especially shocked that underwear alone had been charged at 720 THB. Had we known the pricing in advance, we would never have used the service. When we explained that we were unhappy and refused to pay that amount, only 600 THB was taken off the bill, which still felt unreasonable considering the quality of the service. Some clothes still had stains on them afterwards, white items had turned grey, and my expensive orange dress came back looking dull and faded. Communication throughout the stay was poor and trying to resolve issues felt almost impossible. We struggled to get clear answers or practical solutions from staff and there wasn’t seem to be much information provided about the resort itself either. The location is also quite out of the way. It would probably suit people planning to stay within the resort most of the time, but if you rent a bike be prepared for quite a long journey to and from the main town and busier areas. The resort itself is stunning, but unfortunately the customer service and handling of problems completely let the experience down for us.

We did love the architecture of the place and being very quiet, good for relaxation. Good food offerings too. The staff were very nice and caring.

Room with private pool had a great view. Hotel swimming pools were fantastic. Buggy system to get you around the resort was quick.

Located at the north east coast of Koh Phangan it provides at calm and relaxing paradise with a small charming town a short walk along the beach. The hide awsy villa with private pool was such a delight and we truly loved the time we spent there. It was all very nice quality and the staff was very friendly and always helpful.

A magical, enchanting place with a unique design, nestled in the forest. Absolutely loved everything the breakfasts were amazing, and the cuisine was outstanding.

The reception was appalling and in no way reflects the standards of a hotel of this caliber.

Location. It was THE ONLY hotel that had thr view of the coastline as well as the sea. All others were looking out to see and the coast line is beautiful at night.

“Gorgeous and private rooms”

Setting was amazing and we had the garden view room near the entrance which was great for getting around the island. Resort was gorgeous and the staff were lovely. If you want to go to town a motorbike is definitely recommended. Felt like I was in a James Bond movie with the speedboat pick up and drop off. Thank you for a lovely holiday!

The hotel had a lovely relaxed atmosphere, the views were spectacular, our lodge was very comfortable, also good location to the centre of the property.
