If you are heading to Rotterdam this is an ideal stopping point coming from Calais. Nice location and once you master the room entry system the rooms are exceptional and the response times from reception excellent

The hotel charged us double for the stay! Despite realising it immediately and talking to them when we were there and later, them promising us the money back. Nothing has happened. Booking.com also says they will return the money because we made the booking through them and have provided all the proof for the same but nothing has happened except long international calls!! Very very disappointing! It’s been a month!

Very nicely renovated hotel, spacious room and cosy restaurant. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. Friendly staff. Completely wheelchair accessible.

“Great hotel, location and people”

Great little hotel, well located in the pretty town of Tholen and a few steps away from the picturesque harbour. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly and the room was bright, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We ate in the restaurant which was good quality, local food in a pleasant setting filled mostly with locals. We would love to come back again.

Everything was good enough, the room was brand new and modern, the personal was friendly and helpfull. There are facility for coffee in the room and location is central. Good restaraunt on the ground floor of the hotel.

“Good location for a short stay in the area”

I used the room briefly (in the evening) and nothing else. I just needed a place to sleep to reach Bergen op Zoom in the morning for work easily. Overall, the room was very clean and comfortable, as per the rest of the structure. A nice feature was the restaurant/bar on the ground floor. The host was adequately welcoming and helpful.

“Wrong Weekend to visit (town festival) but would stay again.”

Location was excellent with parking opposite and a choice of 3 restaurants within hopping distance. Lift is a wheelchair lift so a little slow, otherwise it was multiple flights of stairs. Room was large and so was the bathroom. Breakfast was OK and unfair to judge as it was a special weekend.

No hair-dryer. Otherwise everything was Ok.

“Liked the location”

Opted out on breakfast. Thought it too expensive. Room was a good size. Nice location by a marina harbour, and choice of 4 restaurants right outside front door. Nice walks in area, free parking close by, bicycle rental store minutes walk away, easy bike ride or drive to Bergen op Zoom. Really good area for seafood in restaurants.

very disappointed…booked hotel via Booking.com…paid by booking. after 10min lady from reception called me, that mistake happened and they are all booked out and it is not possible I can come. After discussion with reception lady, she found other hotel for me, but I had to pay on the spot, and she will send my booking fee back on my account. after I came to hotel, I paid..but until now never received my booking fee back to my account…nobody responds to my phone calls and messages from hotel about my sending back my money…so I dont have 100 euros back and I dont even know where the hotel is…it is already almost 2 months ago…
