NOTE THAT THE PICTURES ARE NOT UP TO DATE IN THE PROFILE OF THE HOTEL. Based on our January 2024 visit. The hotel has changed from the pictures available on Booking.com, it has been "upgraded". The inside yard still lies on sand but the covered part is bigger and now has a concrete floor, making the place a bit less beachy but way more convenient. A giant screen tv and a ping-pong table have been added and a couple of sofas to sit. The management very conveniently burns mosquito coils all day long to counter these numerous mosquitoes that are very present in Thoddoo. Gone are the hammocks that used to hang in the court. We were sad about that but numerous hammocks are available at the Sunrise beach anyways. Some bicycles (some of them not in very good shape) and snorkeling kits are available for free, making is very practical to get to either the Sunrise beach (closer) or Sunset beach (farther and much bigger perfect but less breezy) that is a good 10-15 minutes away cycling. Useful because a good amount of turtles are visible in the close reefs at Sunset beach and a good variety of fishes and sometimes small sharks can be seen at the Sunrise beach. The room was super comfortable with a tv (Netflix and Youtube), hot water, good AC and Wifi. Personal small terrace with table and chairs were also practical but watch for mosquitoes ! Perfect bedding and the room is cleaned every day. The manager Nadeem and his employee Shimoun were extremely courteous and very nice. Kudos to both of them ! We highly recommend this place !

“They put me in a different property, but still good value for money”

I was in Rihiveli Residence instead of Resten Inn (due to Resten Inn being fully booked when I arrived). The hotel is brand new, breakfasts are amazing, every day a different and huge breakfast. My room had an enormous bed, hairdryer, towels, good wifi, a balcony, fresh water every day. They also provide free bikes for their guests.

Hotel was well equipped (Sorenzo Hotel). There was everything what we needed for 3 night (not Wifi). We reserved “Resten inn” but host sent us to “Sorenzo Hotel”. Staff and “Sorenzo hotel” manager Azzam are super friendly. Unfortunately Wifi was very poor, but it wasn’t big problem for us. Thank you again! Thoddoo I love you 🏝️❣️.

The breakfast was great! Also the service was really good. The owner prepared tuna on the grill for me and my girlfriend, it was amazing!

We took breakfast and dinners. The food was local and what is most important very tasty. A lot of fruits, tuna etc.... After each eating we were completely full. The guest house is located in quite neighbourhood near beach bikini beach (200-300m). The owner was extremely nice, open and very communicative. The whole transfer from Male to island was take care by host. He even pickup us from harbour, so we didn't need to carry our bags.

We had a great stay at Resten Inn. Nadheem is a very nice host and he has been caring to arrange our arriva and departure. The structure provides free bikes to move around the island, and they are very useful since the guesthouse is walking distance from the north bikini beach, but at the opposite side of the island for the south bikini beach. Breakfast is OK, but you will have limited options. However, well in line with the price...and the value for may is superb!bThe room was cleaned every day, which is nice since coming and going from the beach it becomes dirty quickly.

Everything I needed for a comfortable stay on the island.. Owner Nadeem is very thoughtful and caring.

Free bikes, very clean, good air conditioning, very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, close to the beach (3-4 min).

The hotel has a beautiful cozy courtyard, spacious rooms, a large bed in the room, a good bathroom, a cozy patio. There are sockets of different standards in the room. They give beach towels. The rooms are cleaned every day. Bicycles with a basket are provided free of charge at the hotel. It is convenient to go to the beach. There are 2 beaches near the hotel. On the first beach there is a lot of greenery, sun beds and hammocks, a beautiful view of the sunrise. There is a beautiful sunset on the second beach, 3-5 minutes by bicycle. Near the hotel is the main street with supermarkets, a souvenir shop. The owner of the hotel is very hospitable, takes care of every guest. The hotel is very cozy. The photos correspond to reality. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
