I had a very good stay at Ramzu Villa. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable, The villa is set in a nice, quiet location, which was perfect for unwinding while still being conveniently placed for getting around. The value for money was good especially considering the quality of the accommodation. The host was very nice and helpful always on call to answer any questions adding a personal touch that really enhanced my experience. Thank you. Overall, Ramzu Villa met my expectations, and I would happily stay again. I would certainly recommend!

“Comfortable and convenient place to stay”

A good place to stay during our time in Thoddoo. Our speedboat transfers were arranged for 35USD per person each way via WhatsApp prior to arrival. We were able to pay for this via card. We were picked up from the harbour and then welcomed with a delicious watermelon juice and a complimentary buffet dinner on the first night. Dinner is available for 10USD pp on the subsequent nights. Complimentary breakfast was good. Unfortunately there was torrential rain most of our time at Thoddoo so we spent a fair bit of time at the motel. Fortunately, the room was spacious enough to base ourselves and the communal dining area was nice. The wifi didn’t work very well in our room, but worked great in the dining area and reception area and balcony/walkway. The room was clean and bath and beach towels were provided. The bed was comfortable. There was no room cleaning or changing of towels during our 3 night stay. The staff were friendly and we were greeted with a smile but it seemed that only 1 person could speak English so there was a bit of trouble communicating. It seemed a bit far away from the main area of town and the good beaches. The best beach was about a 20 minute walk away. There were restaurants and local convenience stores about a 10 minute walk away. Overall, good value for money.

Mr Azmath is awesome. We had his friendly attitude all the time. The place is just great, spotlessly clean, good and delicious breakfast, hot water always available. We had complimentary dinner on the day we arrived, which was very good. My daughter went snorkeling with sharks and had the best experience in her life, Mr Azmath cooperated with us for this trip. The best guest house in Thoddoo, the staff are so kind, the breakfast and dinner is so good. The rooms are amply and very clean. Azmath help us always and worry about us every time. We loved our stay!

The hotel's buggy transports guests to the beach and back!! Clean, quiet, calm. The breakfasts are delicious. The staff is very nice and helpful! Due to the early departure, they prepared breakfast and brought it to the port!

“The perfect island for your first stay in the Maldives!”

The accommodation we had met all our expectations. It was exactly as described. The staff were very polite, helpful and always ready to provide information. I would highly recommend this place and this lovely island to anyone who wants to get away from everyday life and relax in beautiful surroundings. On the main beach we swam every day with 3-4 turtles 20 metres from the shore. There was a fresh fruit shop by the beach. I highly recommend to each of you - you must try it. At the beach on the harbour side we saw bioluminescent plankton at night - amazing! A large island, full of greenery that is breathtaking at every turn. Lots of places to walk around. You feel like you are in paradise. A local island where you can feel the life of the local community. The perfect island for your first stay in the Maldives!

“Altogether a good value for the price.”

Breakfast was good, although same almost every day. Bed is super comfy, AC is new and quickly cooled the room. There were shared, available cleaning tools and snorkeling stuff that you could take if it was needed and return when not needed.

Generally I would say everything was okay. I think the best thing was really good food. We were enjoying every dinner. Also people there are really nice and helpful. It’s a family business, so it can be seen, that they are trying them best. If you need something, they will gonna do it straight away :) It’s is a good contact by whatsapp, I had a quick response for all my questions. During your stay you can rent the fins and snorkelling mask for free. They organise excursions on different islands and sand banks, which was really good. Unfortunately because of the weather we didn’t go on second one, but we were happy that we had at least one! Also they care there about you.. I can’t swim, so one guy from the team really looked after me during the snorkelling and thanks to him I was feeling safe and I saw all that lovely fishes :) they are really friendly. Room is decorated in modern style, bed is big and really comfortable.

“Perfect!”

Everything was great! I'm so satisfied that I don't know where to start my review. The island is wonderful, full of greenery and beautiful beaches. Surrounded by coral reefs, which are 20m from the seashore. Every time we snorkeled we met a turtle. Guest house - it is run by an very sympathetic and very helpful host, who answered our questions on whatsap at an express pace every time. He helped us organize our vacation from A to Z. Starting with the transportation by speedboat, currency exchange, accommodation, buying souvenirs, to the organization of excursions, which are great and worked out 110%. I especially recommend the excursion to Sand Bank along with feeding the fish and sharks, there is time for everything, taking pictures, sunbathing and snorkeling on the nearby reef. In addition, I was very impressed by diving with manta rays. We easily encountered at least two huge mantas on this morning trip. The cuisine at Guest House is probably the best on the island. Breakfast and dinner are buffet style, which is very varied, so there is something for everyone. You can eat fresh seafood, fish, sometimes chicken, fruits. I was always full and satisfied after the meal. In conclusion, we had an unforgettable experience on the island, we will certainly return to the island again. If you are still wondering about the choice of the island and accommodation, I hope that with my opinion I have dispelled your doubts.
