Perfect location, comfortable room, nice garden and Musa was great!

Musa was amazing, super helpful host that can help organize everything. Hotel has a beautiful garden with many different flowers. Rooms are modern, bathroom is big, bed was comfortable. We love to use those bicycles. Foosld was also good.

“Dream holiday”

Many tv channels, wifi works perfectly. Musa and hole staff, so friendly and helpfull. Place is so beautyfull with garden. Always bicycles available. Good cafe.

Friendly staff. We were met at the airport, then at the island itself. Chillax has backyard with plenty of tropical plants. Rooms are modern and equipped with all the necessary things. Comfortable beds. Very good air conditioning and noise isolation. Despite central location with nearby school and mosque we did not hear anything from outside until the door is opened. We had 2 nearby rooms on the ground floor- one for us and one for children. It was very comfortable for family. Every room has terrace part with tables and chair. Meals -we used breakfast and dinners option, which is very practical. TV in the room - plenty of channels. We used TV for watching some football matches (euro 2024). Musa (the owner, who is real local person, born on this island) proposed many activities-we went fishing two times (early morning and sunset-it's different and very intresting). Musa joined us on the first fishing and it was very helpful. After every fishing we had special dinner with fish we caught, it was very nice! Island is beautiful, very nice beaches with reefs and turtles. It's easy to access any place with bikes provided by Chilax to guests for free.

“Excellent accomodation in Thoddoo!”

Immaculate rooms, beautiful garden with plants, family atmosphere. The owner (Musa) was incredibly nice and helpful, answered all our questions immediately & he was flexible with the dates of the tours. We only requested breakfast because we wanted to try restaurants on the island, (once we requested dinner as well) - the food was fresh, delicious and had a variety every day. For breakfast there were fried eggs, boiled eggs, tuna salad, flatbread, toast, mini pancakes or french toast, sausages and fruit. There is a clean water recharger at the hotel where you can recharge your bottle anytime - but they also provide you a bottle of water every day. Cleaning can be requested daily. Bicycles were provided free of charge at the accommodation, we went to the beach every day by bike. Snorkel masks and flippers were also provided. I’d highly recommend Chillax Thoddo to everyone, you won’t be disappointed! 🙌🏻 Thank you again for all your efforts and kindness Musa & Sourav! 😊

The place was exactly what I expected - cozy and clean. I was very surprised, that there is a hair dryer with a diffuser attachment in the room. As a curly girl I was endlessly happy about that! Also the room is equipped with an iron and a spacious refrigerator, which I appreciated too. The stuff is very nice and friendly. The owner Musa is always there for you and ready to help. The breakfast was great. Fried potatoes and pancakes are my favorite.

Perfect accommodation for our vacation. During our stay, everything was perfect. Everyday the bed was made and when we were coming back from the beach we had the AC turned on in the room. The garden it is very beautiful and the yard is full of green plants, a complete paradise. As a welcome drink they gave us a coconut, which was delicious. They offer free bikes, towels for beach, masks and fins for snorkelling, water, nescafe and tea free all day. The room was very clean and very new. The road to the beach is amazing, full of palm trees. We chose to have the full board and the food was delicious, always tasty. We book by them the transfer with speedboat from Male to the island and also booked a trip to swim with manta and sharks, snorkelling and sandbank and it was perfect! We really enjoyed that we booked via them, they took care of everything. When we arrived from Male a buggy took us to Chillax. We really recommend staying at Chillax, Musa and his help are very friendly and eager to help you and make you feel really good that you are on vacation.

Communication was excellent from initially placing our booking, negotiating the intricacies of airport to speedboat island transfer, which required a few phone calls to our host on Thoddoo, and finally being met on arrival by friendly staff at the quay side and electric buggy ride to our guest house. The rooms are pretty new, spacious and cleaned regularly, and well equipped with AC, fridge, kettle, hair dryer, TV, towels and beach towel, shampoos and soaps and terrace drying rack for costumes and towels. Bicycles and a good selection of masks and swim fins are provided free of charge.The garden was very pretty and well maintained. For breakfast an adequate buffet selection was provided, but better monitoring by staff could have avoided repeatedly asking for this or that to be refilled. Specific food requests were invited and provided. Top marks to our host, a water treatment unit is provided at reception to refill your water bottle free of charge, so there are no excuses for using throw-away plastic bottled water. The location is in the middle of the town with plenty of local restaurants to choose from. The beaches are no more than a five-minute cycle ride away. If you are considering an excursion, but also planning to travel to more islands, I would recommend that you arrange it with our Chillax host on Thoddoo. We registered our interest in a manta ray, shark, coral excursion. Our host organised a trip on the best weather day of our stay in a small boat with 5 others, thereby avoiding the ‘arrival in a crowd’ dilemma of travelling in a larger excursion boat. When we later moved across to Ukulhas island we were pleasantly surprised that our snorkelling trip had been a fraction of the cost to the same locations offered from Ukulhas. New Year’s Eve was celebrated on the island with a complementary seafood platter dinner followed by an extremely well organised local cultural music event, DJ and fireworks.

The Owners Musa and Shamveel were super nice and helpful for anything we needed in the island. The Hotel is providing free bicycles and snorkel set to the guests along with traditional food and a nice ambiance to the guests. Very convinient place as price performance.

Rooms were spacious and clean. They gave you fresh towels every second day, room was cleaned every day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were good and tasty. We had free bikes. I recommend!

The hosts were really kind and help us with everything that we need. The rooms were really clean and looks modern. They rent us a diving equipment and they can arrange a trips for us.

Both Moosa and Adam were very helpful and friendly and were always willing to help us. When we needed to change the breakfast, they prepared other meal for us. Other than that, the room was nice and clean. We received 2 bottles of water every day and we had everything we needed. I could highly recommend this accommodation to anyone.
