Friendly, welcoming and helpful

It's a local horse farm where you can get close to horses and cats! Region offers dark skies (Bortle 2, 1). We stayed in a quite day when there was no other guests. Probably, it made us feel extra nice about the place.

Very warm welcome and house was peaceful! We recommend!

“Good value stay in a great location”

We were greeted by a friendly dog who immediately made us feel welcome. The washer & dryer is a great bonus. The wifi is very fast in the kitchen area of the house.

““Beautiful Nature Setting, Small Rooms””

The accommodation is located about 20 km from Goðafoss waterfalls, along an unpaved road. It’s set on a farm in a beautiful natural environment, surrounded by animals, which makes the experience very charming for nature lovers. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need, and the bathroom and shower are in good condition. There’s also a washing machine and dryer available, which is very convenient for longer stays

“Peaceful cottage in Northern Iceland”

It’s in a very quiet location but also close to the road no. 1, Godafoss, Myvatn lake and Husavik. Our kids enjoyed playing with the dogs and on the trampoline outside the owner’s home.

Very nice guesthouse, with nice rooms, comfortable beds and a washing machine and a dryer (very appreciated).

We had a lovely stay here. It was a very cosy place and the staff were so nice. We were shown around the stables and were able to stroke the horses and find out more about icelandic farming. There is also an added bonus of the neediest cat ever to stroke and a very playful dog! This is a great location to see Northen lights if you were lucky like us.

Good room. Bathroom and toilets are very clean. Good facilities. Location is good, close to godafoss and not a long drive to Akureyri. Super lovely farm with a ultra-friendly barn cat and dog.

The owner was very nice and helpful. The room and the bathroom were clean. The building is part of a farm with horses and sheeps, it’s a very nice experience.

“A real Icelandic farm experience!”

The peaceful valley, the nicest hostess showing us a glimpse of the life on an Icelandic farm letting my kids feed a new-born goat, letting us visit the stables and play soccer with their dogs. The house is perfectly clean and warm with amazing views on the surrounding valley.

It was secluded n facing the mountains. There were horses to feed sheep/goats to see. The was kind n communicative. we enjoyed our stay there.

Really nice place and the owner was super friendly. Not to far from Godafoss. We really enjoyed our stay here and had everything we need :).
