Staff, comfort, cleanliness, breakfast were all great. We had dinner twice there; both times it was really good.

This guesthouse is a little off the main tourist route, down a gravel road. But very near Godafoss falls. It is very quiet and peaceful, food is good. Staff helpful. Great value for money

Very welcoming guesthouse with very polite and friendly staff. Spacious layout. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Shared bathrooms were close to the bedrooms and offered privacy. Large dining hall/breakfast room. Breakfast was good.

Guesthouse in the middle of nowhere so peacefull very well equipped. Super close to godafoss. Accessible with a unpaved road that is quite a long drive but no need for a 4w. Perfect spot to visit alderyafoss

Very kind and cooperative staff. We had to leave very early in the morning, before the breakfast, so they arranged for us sandwiches and soft drinks for takeaway. The bathrooms remained clean despite that they are very busy. In the room foyer there were tap and sink and a small basic wardrobe.

Perfect farmland location near the river. Nice house and room. Good breakfast. Host was very helpful and left room key in a locker, due to our late arrival

The place is a bit off the main routes, but the surroundings are beautiful, and thanks to the very good price-to-quality ratio, we were glad we chose this location. Accommodation all over Iceland is terribly expensive, and the price at this hotel was reasonable, including an excellent breakfast. One evening, we decided to have dinner here as well and tried absolutely delicious lamb and perfectly prepared Arctic char.

Staff is super friendly and responsive. The area around the hotel is full of landmarks.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We appreciated the dinner options offered after our long drive - there were different dishes available, each catering to various price ranges, which was great. The hotel was very clean, and although the bathrooms are shared, we never had any issues with waiting, were always tidy and well-maintained. The beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring we had a restful night. The location is fantastic if you’re planning to visit Godafoss or Aldeyjarfoss, as both are very close. Breakfast was outstanding, with a great selection that set us up perfectly for the day ahead. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would recommend it, especially for those looking for a peaceful stay close to some of Iceland’s stunning waterfalls!

Breakfast was fresh, tasty with many options. The owner or the manager was very helpful; had good tips on traveling and roads. Convenient check-in using codes after hours when arriving late.
