Loved the way a lovely apartment had been built into this old mill! Lots of details had been taken care of. Location was great as you could walk from here to a boulangerie and up the historic valley of old industrial sites - most interesting.

“Comfortable and stylish property in quiet, historic location”
Stylish and comfortable. Well supplied with basic cutlery and crockery. Plenty of hot water. Loved the sound of water from the mill leat, otherwise very peaceful. Very interesting history of property and Thiers.

“Cutting it in Thiers”
Spacious, light, well equipped loft appartment. An imaginative conversion of a former knife factory situated in the old industrial part of the town. The lower floors are being renovated to reflect the building's former use. Close by are an excellent boulangerie and a cooperative farm shop. Be sure to visit these. This area of Thiers is steeped in the history of knife making. Free public car parking is available within 20 metres.

“Great stay”
Really quirky apartment, good location and facilities and a comfortable bed. Good communication with owners regarding parking and access/key collection. Would definitely recommend to fellow travellers

“Great touring base.”
My wife and I enjoyed the studio and the beautiful running stream outside the building. The fact that it was an old factory with a water wheel converted to a studio apartment, made it feel quite funky. It was a great base for touring this pretty area. The amazon speaker was a plus as I asked Alexa to play some cool music when we were chilling.
