Amazing host and staff - very friendly and welcoming. The room was simple but had everything needed, with an incredible balcony view. The food was also very good.

Theth The guesthouse offers everything you need with a clean room, good breakfast and a great view over the area. Restaurants, little shops and the hiking trails are close by. The owner offers a good looking home cooked dinner, but you have to let him know in the morning that you wish for it (we didn't manage to tell him early enough in advance).

This was the perfect location to enjoy the Theth area. We stayed in 2 of the buildings. Both were all that was needed in a stay. Don't be expecting a 4 star hotel. It was a plain Jane room, but had everything we needed for our 3 days. If you're coming to Theth to spend time in the room, I would advise maybe choosing another town. We hiked the Blue Eye while we were there and we were located about a 2.5 hike from the start of the Blue eye. Add an hour if you want to check out the waterfall. The staff was so friendly and very welcoming and accommodating. We ate dinners there nightly. My daughter commented that if she could eat 1 meal for the rest of her life it would be this meal. And she is a vegetarian. Dinner was €15 and worth it. We only had the breakfast buffet 1x whole we were there, and it was a very nice spread. The host and his staff we wonderful people. If I return to Theth I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend. Thank you guys!! You were great.

“Best stay in Albania”

Our favourite stay in Albania. We chose the room with a balcony and it was well worth it - we spent hours just sitting on there watching the sun setting/taking in the mountain views. There are 2 gorgeous friendly cats here. Breakfast was fab, served as a help yourself style which we really loved. We opted for the dinner on the second night we stayed and were so pleased we did - so much food and delicious! We were even given a shot of raki to finish! The hosts were friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer and would love to return.

“Perfect stay in a truly stunning place”

A beautiful property that had everything I needed for my stay in Theth. The room had a heater, but it stayed warm even with it off despite the cool temperatures outside. The meals were beautifully prepared (and huge!). The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. The location is fantastic. About a 15 min walk into the “main” part of Theth but super quiet and very close to the picturesque church.

“Basic stay in beautiful location and with great breakfast”

We loved the location! Its very beautiful, close to the trails and the Theth church, nice distance from busy center. The hosts are very friendly, they have super cute 2 cats and the breakfasts were very good. Every morning some variation of options. Size of the room was great and the views from it - amazing! Reaching the stay by car was not a problem at all and the parking was very comfortable. Close by some nice restaurants.

The location is just by the church and the trail walk to grunas waterfall and blue eye. The property have a nice garden with mountain view and a down path to riverside. The internet was good near the garden and moderate in the room. Staff was super friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was yummi with fruits , eggs, bread etc

very kind hosts that make your stay special, are always onsite and able to help you with anything, hospitality at its best, family feel, cute kittens playing around, we recommend paying for dinner as the dinners were the best food we’ve had in albania so far, convenient location a bit further from main commercial centre and more to the valley and nature, yet close enough, right by the church

Bujtina Vellezerit Grrela is in a fantastic location, making it a perfect base for exploring Theth. It's just a short walk to the main sights like the lock-in tower and the church, and also very convenient for the bus stop, local shops, and restaurants. The owners were very kind, and I really enjoyed the good breakfast they provided in the morning.

We spent three weeks in Albania and Montenegro, staying in a mix of hotels, air bnb and guesthouses and this was absolutely our favourite three nights accomdation. We felt like part of the family with Eddie and Norli who were exceptional hosts. The location was good - close to the church and away from the 'commercial' center of Theth, and in a good location for all three walks we completed (Blue Eye, Grunas Waterfall and Theth to Valbone Peak and back - though note it does add an extra 3km of flat walking if you are walking up to the peak and back but we didnt find this a problem and was in fact a good warm up and cool down. The Coffee they made us (at any time of day) was really good and we loved the 2 pet cats that lay around outside snoozing. Our room was spacious and clean and we enjoyed the outdoor areas to unwind at the end of each day. We opted to have dinner there on our first night (15euro per person) and 100% made the right choice - a delicious (and huge) home-cooked meal of multiple courses. The dinner was so good we opted to eat their again the following two nights and enjoyed equally delicious meals, each different to the night before. The breakfast (included with the booking) was good (the fried pancakes were a real treat!) and set us up well each day for our walks. We would so happily recommend this guesthouse to anyone.

Big room, comfortable bed, very clean and well located (20min from the end of Valbona-Theth trail). Breakfast was very good, and you can ask for dinner (15 euro per person), wich was also good. Our room had a nice balcony with beautiful view.

The host was fantastic at this guesthouse. Very helpful when we needed advice or help with things. A good family guesthouse. Breakfast was also a good buffet style.
