We spent 3 nights at Bujtina Te Grima. We chose it because we wanted to be away from the centre of Theth. And it was peaceful, in a lovely setting with gorgeous mountain and valley views. We had a meal on one of the nights, and it was ok, although a bit pricey. The breakfasts were nice. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

A perfect stay - the facilities are indeed fairly basic, but we had everything we needed. The room was clean, being nestled amidst the mountains was beautiful, service was very kind (even if the parents can't speak much english you can definitely manage and there was always a friendly face and their daughter's english was excellent), and it's a great spot to base yourself from if you want to hike around Theth. We stayed for 4 nights and did three different day hikes. The food was a particular highlight (breakfast included and the option to have dinner there as well), it was all delicious and we looked forward to every meal! To note, we're both vegetarian and we ate really well.

“Beautiful, authentic, mountain village at a great price.”

Theth is a lovely unspoiled Albanian mountain village, which has become very difficult to find in Western Europe.People still carry baggage over a steep mountain route by pony /donkey, because there is no road to Valbona from Theth. Your view from the back garden is a magnificent Mountain range.The hosts are lovely and their children speak good English. Breakfast and Dinner are excellent , authentic and great value .
