Perfect stay! Although there is 1 km off road, I think normal car can manage, but 4x4 is better for this district anyway, the place is beautiful to stay. Host speaks perfectly English. There is a restaurant where you can grab a very good meal for dissent price. The place is a good point to start a trekking to a blue eye and waterfall even with kids :).

“Great stay in Theth”
Good hostel/guesthouse that offers breakfast and dinner (€12) as well. We could leave our car parked there while we went hiking for a couple of days. Warm inside, friendly owners who also made a campfire in the evening. We stayed a second night when coming back from the mountains. Follow the signs when arriving by car.

Beautiful place to stay in Theth with nice views. Good clean room, bathroom, and beds. Kind family who runs the place. Cosy big garden good atmosphere with the other guests. Good Breakfast included, not very various but enough with Bread Albanian pancakes boiled eggs cheese vegetables marmelade coffea tea. Also nice restaurant for dinner with good prices, sometimes buffet, good cold draught beer! Near the Theth waterfall and on the route/track to Theth blue eye, you have to go there!

Rooms are bigger what you can get mostly in Theth. The hosts a very nice and care-taking, family run business, the house is at the end of Theth so it is calm and with stunning views in all directions. The is a restaurant, you can have full ordered dinner for 12 Eur, also there is draft beer, was nice to grab some cold draft beer after long hiking and spent evening in the terrace, looking at mountains and waiting for dinner. Also the host can order you a bus pick up right from the spot to go to Shkoder,

The staff is really really nice and the view is stunning. The owner is so sweet and always very helpful. She let us to drop our bags off already after the check out to go on a hiking. Great athmosphere. The room was ok, nothing special, but to sleep is ok. You have great places outside (balconies, e.g.) to enjoy, relax, read a book. You can have a shared dinner for more 1200LEK with a lot of food, including dessert. The dynamics is really cool.

Super friendly family/staff, helpful with hiking tips (close to the waterfall hike and Blue Eye compared to other guesthouses) and accomodating for early breakfast. Tasty traditional dinner. Very beautiful front garden with their cow and the views! Comfortable lounging area on the balconies and garden. Parking available at the front

“Best place to stay in Theth!”
Ana, the host, is really amazing! Friendly and helpful. The place is beautiful, located in the calm area surrounded by the mountains. Having breakfast with that view is an unforgettable experience ❤️ Room was clean, equipped with all the things that you need. Totally recommend!

“Incredible location with a few deficits”
The location is absolutely stunning at the end of a very long road through forests shining in full fall colour. It is a great place to relax and leave the hubbub of the world behind you. Some people call the location "The Shangri-La" of Albania. The host was extremely nice and forthcoming. The evening meal was wonderful. Overall, the atmosphere is more one of a remote camp than a "hotel" in that sense.

The staff spoke English and we're really helpful. Gluten and lactose food was cooked especially for me. It was clean and comfortable with long hot showers. It had amazing scenery and near the blue eye trail. It was the best guest house I've ever stayed in and that's a few.

“I would recommend a visit!”
Fantastic location at the edge of the village with superb views. A short and pleasant walk through fields to the church and very close to the lock in tower. The host and his family were very helpful. We walked 17km to the Blue Eye and then danced the night away at Dreni.

A nice place at the edge of the village with a great family who runs the place. It is very popular with under 25 year olds and that is the main drawback if you are over, say 40.
