Everything... the rooms are clean (they clean them every day!!), spacious and with beautiful view.... the beach is wonderful and comfortable to swim in. Breakfast is delicious (like all the dishes in the tavern) and kids friendly. Yanis and his family are warm and gracious hosts...

“Relaxing stay near Thermisia”

I spend a couple of days just relaxing and not doing much near Thermisia, a small coastal village away from bustling civilization, in the rough Argolid peninsula. The hotel is located beachfront in midst of an olive and pomegranate orchard, with interspersed apartment houses for the guests. The hotel is a calm and quiet place, there are enough sun chairs and parasols, and the beach is perfect for a swim (there is a bit of seaweed, but it isn't disturbing, and they do comb the beach and clean it). Yannis and his mother also showed me where to find the underwater ruins of some ancient building (or something like that). The wind calmed down on Sunday, so I was able to see it when snorkeling. My large apartment was on the top floor, with two balconies, one facing the sea, the other on the back side facing the orchard. The view was magnificent, you have a direct view on the Hydra and Dokos islands. The bedroom balcony door had a mosquito screen, so I could keep the door open at night, that was nice. I could park my car directly in front of the apartment house, and the olive trees give some shade. I loved the breakfast and dinner, the fresh Sargos and gilthead were fantastic. The breakfast was a rich buffet, with a variety of special sweets changing every day. I didn't miss anything. Yannis welcomed me and was always super helpful when I had questions, and he tried to make sure I had a pleasant experience. Everybody else was also really helpful, but at times it was a bit difficult, as they didn't speak English very well and I don't speak Greek. But, this was never a real problem. Service was always excellent. There is not much to do near the hotel. However, I would recommend to drive up to the castle ruins (if the weather is clear), the view from the top is fantastic. Note that the road is mostly a dirt road in bad shape, but it is doable with a normal car, you do not need a 4WD.

Very calm place close to the sea shore, you can hear the sound of waves in your bedroom. Practically you enjoy your own private beach during your stay. Very kind and helpful staff. Very good food for breakfast and dinner as well.

Honestly, I can share that everything was perfect. The home made food for breakfast, very delicious homemade food into restaurant. The service in every aspect was perfect.

Everything. The resort is just wonderfull. Is in a garden of olive trees, large, lot of parking places. The apartament is very nice, spotless clean. Three balconies, two seaside facing, the view is spectacular. Only one bathroom that is upstaires, a little incovenient, but not much. The restaurant is very good, breakfast is extraordinary .They provide beach towels, the beach is not the best, sand but with pebbles and the entrance into the water not too smooth, but clear, fishes around, nice nice, nice

Stop searching if you’re after an authentic, lovely, and relaxing experience. Yannis and his mother Nelli are the most wonderful hosts, and their family-owned resort radiates warmth and care in every detail. From homemade jams, cookies, cakes, pastries, and freshly baked bread—every meal, from breakfast to dinner, is a delight. The restaurant is a gateway to the heart of Greek cuisine, with recipes passed down through generations. Don’t miss the shrimp saganaki or the daily fresh fish—delivered by boat right in front of the restaurant. They even produce their own olive oil, and of course, we took a few bottles home. We’ll definitely return, and we recommend this place to anyone who asks.

Wonderful place. Set in an olive grove that slopes down towards the beach, the spacious, well-kept complex sits on a wonderful beach with views of Hydra. The room is large with wonderful balconies with open sea views. Great breakfast and a friendly host who takes care of everything. Very convenient access for sailing to wonderful Hydra.

Everything was perfect during our stay. The location is idyllic and provides access to a very quiet and almost private beach. The whole setting is very relaxing and the only sounds that can be heard are those of the sea and the cicadas. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The owners also run a restaurant on site with delicious home-made food.

We stayed at Makis Inn in June and had a wonderful time. It's not luxurious, but it's comfortable, clean and peaceful. It is a great place to relax and unwind. The villas are comfortable and clean, and the views of the olive groves and the beach are stunning. We enjoyed spending our days swimming, sunbathing, and exploring the nearby islands such as Hydra, Spetses and Poros. Breakfast options are a bit limited, but there's something for everyone, prepared in the house. We didn't have dinner, but we learned it's the best fish restaurant in the area. The family that runs Makis Inn is extremely welcoming and helpful. They made us feel like part of the family. We would highly recommend Makis Inn to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation.

It was a special experience. The place is wonderful, the staff is lovely and available for any question. The restaurant of the place is excellent. Enjoyed a lot highly recommended!!!
