Lovely apartment, very well equipped,clean and comfortable bed longe and well equipped kitchen. Joseph was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Marina, Joseph’s mother was a delight, very welcoming and even made cake and gave me some. Marina also took me to the airport when Joseph’s usual taxi could not accommodate me. Overall this was a great experience and I would highly recommend .very good restaurant close by but got very busy.

“Very good apartment and great host but….”

Warm welcome by Joseph (past midnight!) who gave us lots of useful information. Ground floor apartment had everything we needed including water, oil, salt and pepper , fruit and raki! Seven Sports Club Cafe just down the road for breakfast. Close to free bus into town at the stadium (though not Sat pm or Sunday). Red hop on/hop off bus Beach Route goes past though and kindly let us off at unscheduled stop - Knossos is also on their route. Excellent fish restaurant, reasonably priced, on the beach. Beach is very close but has no facilities. Parking outside the property.

Thanks to Joseph and his mom for hospitality. Shared information about bus to the center, very nice taverns and restaurants. Provided additional fan almost immediately. Thanks for raki and fruits in the fridge. Comfortable apartments where everything is available- kettle, coffee maker, tableware, iron, stove, etc. The bad quality is nice. Good balcony. Always places for car parking are available that’s important there.

“Great 2 night stay - perfect to explore Heraklion and Tge Palace of Knossos”

The property is spacious, super clean and tastefully decorated. We didn’t cook, but it was perfectly equipped to do some serious cooking if you wanted to. There was a great local beach side fish restaurant a few mins walk away, and Heraklion Old Town and Venetian Port was about a 30-40 minute walk away, so the perfect residential outskirts location to leave the car parked and explore on foot.

The owner of the apartment is admirable - always ready to help, available by phone and very polite. It was great to find water and fresh fruit in the fridge after an overnight journey. The apartment has everything you need - iron, hair dryer, first aid kit. The area may not be very inviting, but safe for a woman traveling alone. Beautiful, sandy beach at hand. Nearby a delicious restaurant and markets with basic needs (Jumbo, Lidl, etc). Good bus connection to the center of Heraklion (nearby a free bus with transfer to the city). One of the nicer, cleaner private places to stay in Greece. I recommend it:)

“A cute apartment by the sea”

The property is very close to the beach, it was clean and the host was super friendly and helpful. We had all the needed amenities and the apartment is spacious. Overall, a good value for the money, yet you need a car to go to the city center, or to a beach where there are sunbedbs and umbrellas. Would 100% stay again at Joseph Seaside if we were to visit Heraklion. Thank you!

Clean appartement with everything one need.. Overall good location: beech is round the corner, old town is a conversation away (25 min max).

Very clean, everything looked new, it's a beautiful home and very comfortable, has good amenities, and close to the Port and old town. Good value for your money!
