The hotel is not new but they keep it very cozy and clean. Our room was quiet, and we could smell lavender in the halls. Parking was on the street. Breakfast was amazing. Close to Quedlinburg. I would not mind to stay there one more night.

Charming hotel run by charming, friendly people. Ideally located close to the motorway, nice restaurant with homemade food and a great breakfast. We liked it so much here we cancelled the hotel booked for our return journey and came back again. If you’re tall or wide, go for one of the bigger rooms … my husband had a nasty incident with the metal toilet roll holder! Free parking right outside the hotel in a quiet residential area.

Nicely run small hotel. Breakfast was very good. Garden for dinner and for beer/wine was perfect, also for a game of cards.

Charming little country hotel with tastefully decorated comfortable rooms, a good restaurant and pretty gardens with own small pool. Reasonable price given location and all amenities. Outside terrace and beer garden. Friendly and helpful staff! Situated in a quiet village just off road , minutes from Thale central it has all the benefits of being close to.all amenities in Thale without the bustle! ..I stayed in the "Gästehaus" annexe area which is very dog friendly and there are nice quiet walks immediately around hotel. Would have stayed a few more nights gif it hadn't been fully booked!

Room was clean. Good breakfest with different kind of things to try. Around building was a little garden that will look great at summer. Very good communication with personel in reception in english. Good place to stay !

Excellent location for exploring all the attractions around Blankenberg. The hotel grounds have interesting features for children by day and cosy corners for adults to gather in the evening. Good food in the restaurant, reasonably priced. Extensive breakfast buffet with everything you could possibly want. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Excellent value.

Breakfast buffet had lots of choice all fresh, evening meals had great depth of flavour, hosts so welcoming and helpful despite our minimal german we felt really looked after. So much to do and see in local area with a relaxing base to return too, fully recommend.
