Our stay at Villa Thakhek was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with genuine warmth and hospitality that made us feel completely at home. The entire team went above and beyond, but a special mention must go to the wonderful female property manager, who truly made our stay unforgettable. She was always polite, friendly, and incredibly attentive — nothing was ever too much trouble. Every request we had was handled quickly and with a smile, making our time there completely stress-free. 🌟 One of the biggest challenges when traveling in Thakhek is transportation, especially since rideshare services aren’t available in the region. However, the staff made what could have been a logistical nightmare incredibly easy by arranging tuk-tuk transportation for us whenever we needed it. This service alone made exploring the area effortless and allowed us to relax and enjoy our trip without worrying about how to get around. 🚖 Another standout highlight was the beautifully prepared private breakfast. Having a special cooked breakfast made just for us added such a personal and thoughtful touch to our stay. It felt exclusive, relaxed, and incredibly welcoming — the perfect way to start each day. 🍳☕ On top of that, the one-day express laundry service was a huge bonus. It was fast, efficient, and extremely convenient, especially for travelers on the move. Having clean clothes returned so quickly made everything that much easier. 👕✨ Villa Thakhek truly exceeded our expectations in every way. The exceptional service, thoughtful touches, and genuine kindness from the staff made our stay unforgettable. “Quiet comfortable room and very good value”

Although much older in reality, the hotel is so well maintained that it feels about a year old. Picture a high-end motel, large excellent rooms, with no real frills, but very good value and it gives an idea. Everything works, excellent water pressure. The surroundings are much nicer than almost any motel, green, with outside seating areas. (Amusing indication of the hotel's real age: the room had a BNC network port and associated cable! I do not know if it worked, but it's been about 25 years since I last saw one.)

This hotel staff is like angels We were in a problem and needed to go to the hospital at 11:00 PM we asked for help and they instantly took as with their car and even stayed with us to translate and chack that averything is good When we finished at 2 am she even got us food and took us back The hotel as an hotel is very good and in a quiet place With great facilities and clean rooms We couldnt ask for more

It is a quiet place in the middle of Thakek, clean comfortable, and affordable.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Large, pleasant, air-conditioned room with attached bathroom and veranda outside the room. Simple but adequate breakfast provided at extra cost. A garden surrounds the villa which is a perfect place to relax after a day's sightseeing.

Great big rooms, cosy garden and campfire. Good parking. Comfortable bed and a big bathroom with the shower separated. Fridge and water available and refilled every day.

“Great Rehab Place after the Thakhek Loop!”

Fridge, AC, Big Bed, hot shower with shampoo and soap, coffee, TV, there was literally nothing missing and i had an awesome time there

Rooms are large and comfortable, plus there is a nice outside space in the garden. The staff were great and stored our bags whilst we did the loop. It was also really quiet at night time which we appreciated. We stayed at the start and end of the loop.
