“Did not stay”

Did not stay here, made booking for 31st december 2025, arrived at the location and only then older Thai woman said that we can not stay as she had an operation recently and is recovering so cant manage the lodges. They dont speak english. Later older man called english speaking woman who is handling reservations and bookings and she said that made mistake and did not remove from booking and this stay should not be available until spring 2026. At least we did get full refund but still made long trip there

We liked Mrs Wanpen's cooking and the friendly demeanor of both Mr Hey and Mrs Wanpen. We also loved the rural setting with all the different fruits and vegetables.

“The perfect owners!”

The owners were just absolutely great! The cottages were well maintained and the farm was beautiful. The food that the couple cooked for us was absolutely delicious and all from local ingredients that they grew right on the farm. Just an unforgettable experience. Thank you very much.

“Quiet and peaceful huts in the countryside.”

The owners are very nice and helpful. They shared places of interest and even brought us there. Great hospitality and lovely food. The huts are in lovely surroundings in rural Thailand with sound that go along with it at night. All in all a very nice place of quietness and peace.

“Very 'back to earth'-stay on the countryside!”

Kind people, natural environment.

It was in nature and far from the noise of the city, the staff was extremely welcoming and they paid attention to us all the time.

Mr Hey and Wan Pen were absolutely delightful hosts and we loved getting to know them over the 2 days we stayed. The food was brilliant. The fish was especially good, order in advance. The pancakes were also amazing. Slept super well and awoke to a lovely bird song. Lots of nice walks in the area and Mae Kamin waterfall was a brilliant excursion.

Rustic and cute . There were fireflies around us. Lovely area

“Great stay at Shanti Farm”

We only did one night here but we had a really fun stay and it was as basic as you would expect staying on a farm - it was exciting and the owners couldn’t have been more friendly. Mr Hey went out to get some beers for us and we all absolutely loved our food - especially the massaman curry! The property was very clean and it was great to be out in the sticks. We even saw wild elephants on the way to the accommodation which was the highlight of our trip!

It was a very secluded location which was exactly what I was looking for. Staying in a lovely bamboo hut, the hosts are warm and welcoming, cooking amazing food on site that they have grown all the ingredients themselves. I would 100% recommend a stay at Shanti Farm.

The best food of Thailand, a big menu to choose from all homemade fresh dishes. Our bike broke down and the wonderful mr.Hey and his family fixt it in half an hour ! Thank you for the amazing stay

We absolutely loved this place and felt very welcomed by these two hosts. The farm is a unique place, beautiful and peaceful. Food from Mrs Wanpen is amazing, organic and from the garden. Wood cabins are perfect to rest and hear the nature nightlife ! We don't understand how some comments are this negative. Some people should question their abilities to travel further than modern hotels ! 😉 We are beyond grateful and wish we could have stay longer. Best booking in Thailand so far !! “If you want to be inmerse in nature in a simple but cozy bungalow, this is your place”

Inmerse in nature, it is an eco cabana super cute. I just love it!!!

It was really beautiful location, nice and clean little bamboo bungalow, comfortable, with a mosquito net. There was no shower, but it is understandable. We could wash ourselves with the rain water :D the host is very pleasant and makes really tasty food. Sleeping with the sounds of forest around was great. Plus there are the Great Hornbills right above the farm.
