“Lovely stay!”

The views at this place were amazing. The host was very kind and easy to contact. Bed was super comfortable and extremely easy to check in and flexible with us on check out since she could help us out on that day!

“Dirty dilapidated place living the last days of its former glory!”

We booked this property in hope to have very chilled relaxing few days but.... this property left very dirty feeling... To start - the instructions received from the Host were wrong and contained wrong code for key collection. We've spent over half an hour trying to unlock key deposit box only to discover that we were provided the wrong code!!! What if we'd arrived late at night??? The contact number provided to us was not working either! Secondly, the place is dirty - the dirt that has been there for ages, after not being properly cleaned between the tenants! And to finish it all off - the host provided invoice for one amount in XPF but decided to charge us in US Dollars (because they are based in the US), choosing the preferred rate for them and then, without our permission, just charged our card with an amount they wanted! Which means we were charged almost £100 extra! That is why you are unable to pay at the time of the booking - because the host overcharges you at the check-out!!!! Would anyone be happy to be treated this way on your super-expensive-as-it-is trip to French Polynesia??? And the tone the host is using in their correspondence.... well, book & see! Otherwise, the location was good if you have a car, beautiful flower-tree sets nice backdrop to the ocean but you can't swim as the water is all muddy, only around the bungalow. Bed was large and comfortable but after seeing how dirty the whole place is - you need to bring your own bedsheets to feel clean in this bed. Place looked very nice on the photos which were probably taken 100 years ago because the reality is very different! The whole place had to be de-greased before you could unpack and touch the surfaces, every handle in the property, surfaces in the bedroom, kitchen fridge, hob, sink etc.... and after seeing that - we would not trust the visual cleanliness of the bathroom - so we had to clean the whole property!

We were right on the water where we have witnessed some beautiful sunsets. We were able to snorkel and fish. The kayaks were really great. Such a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. The shower outside was wonderful.

Beautiful terrace, good outdoor kitchen and I loved the outdoor shower.

the location was amazing, the terrace opens on the lagoon, you can watch the sunset every day, and has a private stairs to the water. a cool outdoor shower and the outdoor kitchen where you can have your bbq. the bed was comfortable . the kayaks
