The biggest advantage of this property is its excellent location very close to the airport. We had an early morning flight and being able to simply walk there without needing taxis or buses was extremely convenient and stress-free. The keyless check-in process was also very easy and smooth, which we appreciated after a long day of travel.

“Perfect stay near Marco Polo airport”
We struggled to find any hotel near the airport that would do a late check in. Villa ai Tigli has self check in so we could arrive any time during the night. As our plane was delayed and we were arriving at 01.30 this was perfect. The hotel was about 1.5km from the airport and the instructions to enter the hotel and our room were so clear. A code was sent to us in advance and even had a video to show us exactly where to go which made everything so easy. The room was large and clean and comfortable with a lovely hot shower, tea and coffee making facilities and everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was very quiet there so we had a great nights sleep. I highly recommend a stay here.

Location near the airport. Stayed twice, arriving by Radiotaxi (with prepaid voucher) after evening flight. Caught No 15 bus following morning for onward travel from Venice Mestre. Could have enjoyed breakfast in a local bar in Tessera which we passed on the way to the bus stop. On our return we caught the no 15 bus to the property, enjoyed a delicious and reasonably priced evening meal at Ristorante Il Quadrante. Villa Tigli arranged Radiotaxi to pick us 6.30am to take us to Marco Polo airport for our flight back to UK. Good communication via WhatsApp. Property very clean. Air conditioning was a bonus on our return.

“Great location, a few oddities.”
Location was fantastic, so close to Venice that we took an unexpected trip in at the grand price of 3Euros each for a return bus ride and appreciated that this information was clearly laid out in the room on arrival.

“Avoid this Location”
The elevator broke down and I had to carry my heavy suitcases from the 2nd floor to the ground floor via the stairs In addition, the shuttle service to the airport was not included and I had to pay €20. I had to do everything myself, even the taxi booking. To top it off in the room there were not even forks , spoons, knives. I contacted the staff to get a fork but I received no assistance.

Great place. Easy to get the bus to Venice. Easy walk to the car rental place. Easy system to open doors and whatnot and friendly lady. Best shower in an accommodation I had in a long time.
