I didn’t have high expectations for this place, as I was mainly looking for a budget-friendly stay in the south of the island — but Hotel Rural truly surprised us in the best way. The room was spacious, spotless, and most importantly fresh — not hot or humid at all, which was such a relief. We also discovered that the bathtub had a built-in hydromassage, which was a big plus. The host is a very kind lady. She doesn’t speak English, but communication was still easy and pleasant. Breakfast is available on site and it was delicious — and only €6 per person. The hotel is located in a rural area, in the middle of “nowhere”, but that’s exactly its charm. In the evenings, the silence is absolutely incredible — I haven’t experienced anything like that in a long time. If you’re looking for an authentic stay on Fuerteventura, this is the place for you.

Good and calm location, hotel offers few places to park the car. Rooms and other areas always kept clean. Taking account the price, it was a good choice.

Great breakfast with fresh homemade orange juice and eggs. Very very welcoming and friendly. You can see a lot of stars if you go out in the night.

Shower was amazing, very powerful, beds were really comfy, especially if you like a hard mattress, location was great to explore all around the island, not a great deal of restaurants around though, the rooms were really big and they decorated them with valentines balloons and roses, was a great touch! Breakfast was fab!

It was awesome! The location makes it easy to access any part of the island very quickly. The Hacienda design is outstanding, you genuinely can feel yourself native there! The view of the mountains and the sky at night is stunning! The breakfast is tasty and makes you replenished for another day of exploring Fuerteventura, I wish we also tried their dinners but will do it next time for sure. The owners - friendly and helpful (even if you don´t know Spanish they will find a way to support you). We stayed for almost a week and enjoyed it so much! Indeed, this is like your own country house on the island of a Lucky Wind! And the neighboring cats are so funny and lovely, we got so used to them, make sure you have a piece of meat or cheese with you, so they can be your best friends while you stay! Cheers and highly recommended :)
