“Magnificent stay in the middle of the desert”

The staff is very friendly and helps any way they can. The location is great! Too bad we had a full moon because when it's dark at night you could see some many stars (so if you can, avoid the full moon). Sitting outside on the porch of the cabin is possible until late at night and you'll see a lot of wildlife right in front of you. Follow the driving instructions of the ranch and don't trust your GPS! You can have breakfast, lunch or dinner in the nearby Bad Rabbit Cafe.

It was supposed to be a wheelchair accessible cabin but Booking.com had yet again failed to pass this information on, and now none were available.

Friendly staff, comfortable room, site is well laid out with outdoor pool and laundry, not forgetting the cafe on site. Tranquil and good for stargazing. Interesting animal footprints and other traces can be found outside the cabin in the mornings.

We found a very nice lodge in the middle of the desert. It was comfortable and included everything we needed. Informations about check-in and the area are very clear.

This is a wonderful place with a cozy and cleaned lodge somewhere in the nowhere. We loved to enjoy the nature and the nights full of stars. We met only friendly and lovely people. It was perfect. The road is not paved but still easy to drive on.

The people especially Tammi were very friendly and hospitable. The nature was great. We really enjoyed the calmness, and the starry sky.

The location is of the Terlingua Ranch Lodge is just great. Very remote and quiet. The only option for food nearby it the Bad Rabbit Cafe operated in the Lodge, and we were pleasantly surprised that it is in fact a very good one.

The remoteness of the location is unmatched, so many wild animals to see early in the morning.

It's a 1.5-hour drive to the central mountains of Big Bend National Park, so it's a little far away from the central location. This surprised us a bit because we didn't check it properly while booking. But the place is fantastic. It's a magical place in the desert, surrounded by mountains, creating a mystical atmosphere. The pool is excellent, and we enjoyed resting there after our hikes in Big Bend. It is highly recommended!
