Loved the little bakery/pizza shop at the resort. We got dinner and breakfast there and it was delicious and affordable! Location was lovely.

“If you need a bed, this is possibly not the worst place”

Shabby place, partially charming, partially needing repair. Life only starts at 8am (so, for the NP I didn’t find this a suitable place), no gym before 8 (also no gas; just as an info) There was no chair in the room (so couldn’t use the desk), room was in the main house, on the gallery and the whole day and night you hear the word spoken down at reception. Bathroom might need some repair (rusty/ moldy spots in several places, those in the sink had a disgusting color also, I nearly threw up). Gym might work better with some maintenance (put oil on moving parts). Fridge in room might need some TLC because mine was fully iced and then I had wet carpet during my whole stay when I turned it down a bi so my veggies would freeze. There was also no WIFI password or SSID provided and I used an open WIFI that I could get in my room, not sure whose it was.

“Relaxing and comfortable stay”

Based on Google Maps images, I was a bit afraid that the hotel would be outdated. But there was nothing to be afraid about. This hotel has exceeded all expectations. Check-in was smooth and staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious with a comfortable bed. We loved the "Old West" vibe in the hotel. Due to the proximity of Big Bend National Park and State Park, the hotel was incredibly silent at night and offered excellent night skies, which resulted in excellent sleep. I cannot wait to go back someday!

Live music in the bar, pool, coffee shop. Bed very comfortable.

“Heavenly oasis”

An oasis at the end of a very long drive through Texas. One of the most peaceful places I have ever been. City people have never heard such silence. Incredible stars and galaxies overhead. Big Bend around 20 minutes away. TAKE ME BACK!!

Golf course is spectacular, terrific staff at the course and everywhere! Room was nice and comfortable.

Only place available for big bend

Room was very comfortable and had a nice outlook. The resort was very clean and well maintained. Nightly entertainment at the Thirsty Goat. Food in both the bar and restaurant was enjoyable and portions were huge. Complimentary coffee available in the hotel in the morning.
