“Lovely homely stay in Albanian village”
We had a lovely stay at Goni's Guest House! The owners were so friendly and welcoming. They offer breakfast, lunch and/or dinner for an optional extra cost at a very good price. The meals were delicious, hearty, fresh and homemade, including many of their ingredients (jam, yoghurt, butter, bread). Our room was clean and electric heater in the room was nice for the chilly nights! The bathroom is basic but has hot shower. In terms of location, I would recommend doing your shop for snacks and any essentials (especially before hiking the Zagoria Valley) BEFORE arriving in Peshtan - the village has no shop and the closest shop is a 2 hour walk away (either Tepelene or Kercyre). I also recommend calling the owner when you arrive at Peshtan's village centre - the house is tricky to find, they came and picked us up and took us on a narrow windy trail path (no disabled-access). Google translate is useful too for communication. Overall, a lovely homely stay with the owners, their daughter and grandson! Faleminderit! :)

We enjoyed our stay so much! We spent the evening with the hosts and had a wonderful time (with lots of google translator in use😉). We could cook our own food in the kitchen. Next morning we had breakfast (5€/person) and our bellys were full with delicious homemade products! Homemade yogurt, cheese, bread, figjam, eggs and som vegetable-rice. Bathroom is modern and shared with family, not too much privacy. But we new in advance, for us no problem. Thank you so much for this wonderful evening✨

The owners are super nice people and they try so hard to communicate and to help you with anything you want. It is interesting inside to life of ordinary people of Albania. At least they have new bathroom which is good.
