“A wonderful quiet and peaceful place to stay away from busy Tena!”

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although I was the only guest they had I was able to make use of all facilities including the bar. They even opened the kitchen for me in the evening and I got a fresh and tasty dinner. I will definitely stay here again when I am in the area.

Absolutely wonderful! Rooms are spanking clean, and the premises are gorgeous. We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer. Lodge is near a stream with beautiful gardens. The pictures don't do it justice. The breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit and fresh juice.

Breakfast was the highlight for me, room was nice and clean. Tena city is a short drive away and loved the river next to the hotel.

Nice quiet place to stay in the jungle. No one was there but us. Receptionist was friendly, welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was delicious. Clean and comfortable. Nice room views.

Breakfast was excellent, fruit, eggs, pancakes, coffee, yoghurt. The facilities are great: pool, ping pong, board games, a little bar area outside, and billiard.

We arrived late and weren’t able to enjoy the pool or the games room. However, the clean and comfortable rooms plus the fab breakfast were enjoyed by all. I am so happy that I booked this property based on the pics and reviews

“Luxury in the jungle”

Real luxury, and super clean design hotel 10 minutes drive from Tena. This was my best accomodation in Ecuador. The whole property is perfect until the last details. Staff is kind, breakfast is amazing, surrounding is a magic.

One night stay on our way back from jungle stay. Well appointed room overlooking the river and lots to do on site as weather was poor (table tennis, darts and pool) Would have been nice to stay longer. Good breakfast and helpful staff although very little English

“The best hotel we visited”

We liked everything. We can really say that it is the best hotel we visited, especially as an attitude of the personell to the visitors. We were helped in everything. They helped us to organise a transport back to Quito comfortable and convinient for us and the budget we wanted. We had incredeable dinner at the lodge for the price cheaper than in many restaurants and good quality. The attention and attitude to clients is really incredable. As well as the beauty of the lodge, relaxing atmosphere, taste in the interior and design of the lodge. All buildings and natural space are made with great taste and love.

“Tranquility and alignment”

I had the BEST time at Tagua Lodge for the two nights that I stayed. The entire experience from the staff, to the food, to how beautiful the property is with so much attention to detail, exceeded any and all expectations I could have had. I felt like I was at home. You will not be disappointed and I am looking forward to booking my next visit for hopefully a longer duration. I am also vegan and for the complimentary breakfast which is such a generous amount of food they were able to accommodate me perfectly. Thank you Tagua Lodge!

Breakfast was absolutely superb! Would definitely stay here again for sure! Staff helped with calling taxis etc, they were very patient with our not knowing Spanish.

“A little piece of heaven ✨️”

This was just a slice of heaven for me - peaceful and tranquil. Exactly what I hoped for. The property is lovely, on the banks of a small stream and surrounded by plenty of jungle and plants. There's abundant bird life and I even spotted a monkey one morning. The breakfast is absolutely amazing, super delicious and sets you up for the entire day. Dishes available for lunch or dinner were also really good. The Duplex was simple but beautiful, offering vistas towards the lush green from the balcony, included fan and aircon. Beds were also very comfy. The pool makes for great refreshment during the daytime heat, and there's plenty of seating to just lounge and linger. The team working at the property were all very kind and helpful. Thank you for the beautiful stay!
